Her hair wavy, brownish-red hair, just like her mothers was, is just past her shoulders. She is always wearing a shy grin. She dresses in loose clothes, mostly cute sun dresses or long skirts. She barely ever wears shoes and when she does they are sandals. She wears her mother's locket at all times that has a picture of her parents locked away inside. Personality: Nate is so much like her father. She is inquisitive and curious, always looking for new things to discover. She is spunky and bubbly, although when she meets new people she is really quite shy. She comes out of hiding when she gets to know people well. She is kind and generous, always looking out for others and for her family. Nate loves to live a simple life. She plans on moving out of New Meridian soon so she can have her own place where she can garden and spend more time outside. Strengths: She is determined and energetic. Nate is courageous, independent, and intelligent. She tends to see the bright side of things even when times are at their worst. Weaknesses: Stubborn beyond belief. She can be a bit proud sometimes. Quirks: She loves to garden. She sings to herself. She skips and frolics whenever she thinks she can get away with it. Secrets: When she was with her older man friend he had her enchanted. Biography: Nate Samra Chance, named for her mother (Natalie Tether Chance) and her grandmother (Samra Chance), was born to two loving parents, unfortunately only one of them lived to see her take her first breath. Natalie died in child birth leaving Nate and her father Enki to care for themselves and although they were both hurt by the loss, Enki did an excellent job raising his daughter. Nate and Enki have an excellent relationship and understanding. Nate was sent to Salem Academy when she was seven years old and learned as much as she could from her father and the other scholars at the school. After graduating from the Upper school she went on to become an inventor. Nate became involved in a rather unhealthy relationship with an older mage who charmed her beyond belief and Enki was really upset that she couldn’t see that this man was no good for her. They had their first real fight and it tore the two apart. Nate moved far away from her father, spending time in Marik before she realized that Enki was right. She moved back to Hamlin and apologized a thousand times for being foolish, Enki of course apologized a thousand times and the two made up. Nate moved to New Meridian when she was 35. She started working full time for her best friends parent at the shop Cap Ou Pas Cap and pretty much runs the place now. She is quite happy with her work. She met a man named Benji who agitated her beyond belief but they two quickly got over their initial differences and developed a friendship that turned romantic. After seeing each other for a while Benji asked Nate to move to a new home together. They decided on Salem where Nate could grow a garden and still be close to her job.
