Brief History: Powers came and with them a severe lack of control. Sam did his best, but a few incidents had him pinning (DESERVING BASTARD) people to walls, or making things shatter. So while he was being worried about this, a good friend of his was murdered and he was thrust into the whole vigilante business. He became the leader of TEAM, went ass backwards into a relationship with Lucy, whom he is crazy about, and found himself playing Mother Hen to a bunch of people. He doesn't think he's a good Leader, or that he should have any part in this, but he does what he can, and now that TEAM has their shit together and are actually a well functioning crime fighting machine, Sam has taken to the Leader role very well. Let's see how long that lasts.

Any changes that have been made to your character: I made Sam older, he was 26, but now he's 27 , turning 28. He's pretty much the same, though because of the lack of stupidity (cough) Sam didn't become so tightly wound and anal. He's still a bit like that, but relaxes and has fun like he was originally written to do.

Brief Description of Power Capabilities: So Sam got very good with his Telekinesis, and while there's still the off chance he could go Jean Grey on everyone's ass, he's very controlled. He's able to control and manipulate on both molecular and atomic level, and able to lift things at several tons in weight. He hasn't gotten the hang of the atomic level of control, so creating fire and causing people to combust won't be happening any time soon. He's gotten the hang of flight, and he can manipulate structures of the body, physical structures, and molecular structures. But no psycho incineration today!

Telepathy so far still only extends to Gabe, and that's mostly because Sam's mind is wired for mental powers, but that doesn't mean he can use it. Yet, anyways.

There were severe complications during the birth, which in result put a strain on both parents who thought they'd lose another child. Marianne ended up dying of complications a year after the birth, but Sam proved them all wrong, and was considered a miracle. Well, that opinion swiftly changed by the time he was old enough to walk and talk. Sam was a troublemaker, and its something he's only really just grown out of. Curious, and with little care for his own personal safety Sam had taken more trips to the hospital than they could count, and this was all before he hit 10 years old. It was due to this that Sam went into the medical field, that or he had watched too many episodes of ER. As a kid, Sam was incredibly observant, and even at a young age he was always the leader of his group, the one that stood out. This was mostly because he was the only one brave enough to do anything, or speak to anyone. He and his older sister had never gotten along, and truthfully they still don't. Julia was always jealous of the attention Sam received, while Sam couldn't have cared less for it. The age difference also made it harder for them to connect, and Sam was happiest when she was no where near him, though they've tried to repair their relationship over the years. Nathan moved the family to South Carolina, so that he could teach--and get away from painful memories in Lousiana. By the time high school hit, Sam was captain of the soccer team, and on the swim team. Most thought it was to make his Father, who was nearly impossible to please, proud, but Sam never did anything for anybody. Sam also began to date, and while he was just like every other boy, he was much too focused on making something of himself to really pay proper attention to any girlfriend he had, until he met Jen, who met him stride for stride in temperment and ambition, and the one girl he could say he loved. The two made plans to go to Boston for College, and they had been dating for 5 years, when he caught her with another man. It was the one instance that anyone can remember seeing him lose his temper, and it wasn't a pretty sight. He's sworn off girls for now, the memory still fresh in his mind. He transfered and finished at SC without her and went on to get his EMT training. Most thought he'd stay in the city, but it was a call from his younger brother that brought him back home. Their Father had died of a heart attack, and it had left the family devastated. He returned , and took up a job as a Paramedic, making sure he was close enough to take care of his younger brother, and make sure his Sister was alright. He had been living in South Carolina for a few years when the oil spill broke out, and is only just starting to notice some odd things. Put it to the fact that he wasn't an incredibly emotional person to begin with, but in times of annoyance he's begun to notice that he can...well...he can lift things with his mind.
