It's been way too long since I've posted. I keep saying that I will post, and I have meta posts in my mind, but then I get tired and it gets pushed off and never gets done. So things I've done:

1. Last Thursday, I had dinner at Il Cortile in Little Italy. Not only the restaurant is fantastic, but the company was even better. midnitemaraud_r, ziasudra_fic, bethbethbeth, lauriegilbert, marksykins, and cedarlibrarian were all there and we talked for hours. I'm pretty sure they wanted us out by the end of the night.

2. On Saturday, ziasudra_fic invited us to her new sparkly apartment. I had a chance to see midnitemaraud_r, , paranoidsistah, and bethbethbeth again. This is the most I've seen them in such a short time. We were joking (not entirely) that the next time we see each other, we'll be in San Francisco. BTW, I've bought the Mario game for the Wii. You people keep getting me addicted to things.

3. Speaking of San Francisco, I just got my tickets. NYC-San Francisco-San Diego-NYC for a grand total of $385. Using my miles, I end up paying $85.

4. st_reboot is going strong with over 1100 members. I'm also one of the editors at trek_news. I still can't get myself to write Star Trek though for a few reasons. One, Spock was my first (and probably only) TV boyfriend. I mean as a kid, I had entire time traveling adventure where I would grow up and marry him. The Mary Sue factor is high. Two, it's even worse because these are NOT the Spock and Kirk we know. They are the same and yet different. Mmmm, I have to get myself motivated.

5. I'm actually writing fic. I'm writing two fics. One for apocalyptothon and the other for smallfandomfest. I can't say what I'm writing for the first, although OMG, I can't believe I am writing that. I'm writing the Fast and the Furious for the second one.
