We set aside our games and even television in order to give our undivided attention to one another. I can't count the times we said "I love you". It always makes me so content and happy to just be in his arms... <br /><br />Also, I forgot to mention that I ran into Millia again about a week ago and offered to let her stay with us for a time while she searches out <strike>Zato</strike> Eddie. She was very polite in declining for a while, but I eventually convinced her. I think that Slayer was glad to see her too.<br /><br />Since she's been here she's mostly stayed on her side of the house, as usual. He thoughtfully turned down all other possible engagements to spend time with me, as work has kept him from me for the past week or so. Despite the few errands he did have to run, we managed to spend a fair amount of time together. During this time, I tried my best to guide him in a game that I had previously completed, and we spent the rest of the night curled up in bed watching silly television shows. <br /><br />It's always so refreshing to simply be with him after a long period of absence. Being in his arms, undistracted by the world around us, always makes me feel more stable in general.<br /><br />Just like any other couple, we have our ups and downs; our rough patches and our phases where we're untouchable. But during it all, one fact has always remained the same: I truly do love my husband. Through all our years he has been my only constant, my definite source of neverending love and fathomless support, even when I'm not at my best. We've seen the worst together and we've persevered. I intend to do everything in my power to make sure that we see the rest of our days in the company of one another.<br /><br />In perfect fashion, he fell asleep in my arms nearly a half hour ago. I wasn't very tired, so I got up to retrieve a drink and feed one of the cats that has taken to following Millia around lately. I figured I may as well update while I was at it. <br /><br />Though now, I think it better to return to my place in his arms for the night.
