1. Uuuuugh. Spent all of it worrying about him, of course. She doesn't really like to think about it all that much, and she'd lie and say she was just mourning and helping with the funeral. Which she was, because she was hit hard with the loss of their sensei--but even above that was an anxiety for Shikamaru and anger that he would disappear and worry her and his mother and vague understanding that he just needed to get away for a bit.

2. Pleasant surprise? She was a little confused at first, and wondered what their sensei must have said to him to inspire this change. However, she's willing to put aside her curiosity for the sake of seeing him actually make something of himself. Other people bitch that he doesn't do anything--including herself :)--but Ino knows that he was much worse before As--their sensei died.

Buuuuut, she's not going to breach that topic quite yet. Shikamaru is more sensitive than he appears.

3. GOD, SHE. KIND OF HATES IT. Enough to bitch about how it'll give him cancer, but not enough to actively get him to quit. Because a.) getting him to quit would mean admitting to herself that she's worried about his health, and b.) on some level, she knows it's probably one of those things he won't ever budge on, so she's not going to push it too much.

4. SHE MOISTURIZES AND DEEP CONDITIONS IT TO WITHIN AN INCH OF ITS LIFE. So yes, she puts a lot of stress on it with all the blow drying and straightening and curling, but she also takes damn good care of it. :) A woman's hair is her life.
