Is it absolutely terrible that I'm not even remotely sorry to hear that Chester Scabior may be dead under a pile of rubble?

Is it more terrible of me to hope that he is?

I don't consider myself a hateful person, or even a malicious one, but after everything that man has put my sister through, I can't even be sorry. I still can't believe he's Sadie's father - she's such a beautiful, well behaved little girl, and Bess' saving grace.

I wonder how Bess is holding up. I just don't know how to approach the subject. I just hope she'll come to me if she needs to.

The Holiday Season is upon us. Time flew by far too quickly, but I'm looking forward to making Christmas cookies, and other holiday themed treats.

I still can't believe we're going to be half-way through with August at the end of the week. September means the start of a new school year, and a mother asked me to make some cupcakes to celebrate her son getting a letter from Hogwarts. The mother told me she wanted something 'owl themed', and this is what I came up with.

I think they came out adorable, but maybe I'm just being biased. If anyone would like one, I made extras. I assure you, they taste even better than they look.

Apparently when I update my journal, you can all expect me to be handing out sweets.

I love the summer! More specifically I love ice cream in the summer. So much so that I decided to make my own this year.

I have to say, it turned out quite well. Or I think it did, which was why I had a bowl or two and am now experiencing quite the sugar high.

SOMEONE TAKE THE ICE CREAM! I will give it away, just don't let me eat any more of it!

There's chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I can make other flavors upon request!

With all these holiday parties coming up, I'm being pulled in all different directions. I'm barely going to have a second to myself on Christmas Eve. I'm just thankful that Christmas Day will be more mellow, giving me time to actually sit back and relax.

If my brother or sister produce any more children, I'm going to go bankrupt. I can not step foot into a children's store without walking out of there with carts of baby paraphernalia that I don't even know what to do with.

These kids are going to be the death of me. If only they weren't so damn cute and irresistible.

I mean how can a woman say no to over-sized stuffed animals and miniature booties?

What does a Ravenclaw dress up as for Halloween?

A Raven, of course.

All things considering, I had a wonderful Halloween. I went to a couple of parties before I went to the gala, which was marvelous, but now I'm completely shot and crashing from my sugar high. I only wish I got to stay longer - I barely got to see any of my friends or family, I was there and gone in a flash.

A really fantastic job offer, actually. But it would mean leaving Feast your Eyes.

I feel so torn - I've been with Rosalind for so many years, but it's a wonderful opportunity.

I've been quite the busy bee, lately.

I designed a Cinderella Castle cake for a little girl the other day, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of it.

Willow, did you have any ideas on what you would like your cake(s) to look like, or what flavors you want?

All of should make plans for next Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday.

I've taken it into my own hands to make sure that all of you get a 3 day weekend of relaxation. I'm taking Penny, and she and I are going to have a wonderful time while the rest of you take some time for yourselves.

I know this is sort of last minute, but I honestly think you all need some time to rest. That little girl is quite a handful sometimes.

I've come to realize that when people are cooped away in thier houses, because they aren't able to travel to any wizarding location without an escort, they eat a lot of cake.

I've also come to realize that people who are very depressed and/or bored eat a lot of cake.

Hm. Maybe there's some sort of odd connection there.

I probably should be jumping up and down with joy, since the shop is doing very well, but when I think about why it sort of puts a damper on my good spirits.
