Frangipani’s life has been a tragic one. Her mother died only minutes after her birth. She was named after her mother’s favorite flower by her father, Gael. In the next few years Gael tried to learn how to live without his life partner and how to be a father but he never really learned to cope. He slowly drove himself mad, often forgetting to take care of his daughter and neglecting her needs. When Frangipani was ten years old her father went walking in the Black Forest in all his madness and he never returned. She was adopted by the village, the others made sure she was well taken care of and trained, especially since she darkened quite early. She was always a quiet child, she was more interested in learning about magic and the ways of the world rather than playing with other kids. Frangipani never really made any friends since she had been alone for so long, even when her father was around he was just raving. She has been met time and time again with trials and tribulations and has faced each obstacle with patience and a quiet strength. She is trying to open up to those around her now that she is older but still runs into social barriers at times as she never really learned. | ||||||||
