Kris is average height for a girl, standing about 5'6 with an athletic boyish sort of build. She's got a squareish, boxy figure that she doesn't bother dressing. She knows she has a boyish figure and she really couldn't care less about it. Her typical style is somewhat tomboy, she's a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and getting her into a dress is near impossible. Heels is an absolute no-no. She's all about function over trend. She has impulse control issues to top it off, often saying or doing things that get her into trouble. She's the kind of girl who would rather throw together an elaborate prank at a dance than go to it. Kris is defiant and combative, she has a problem with men, authority figures, matronly women, patronizing adults, and anyone who tries to tell her she's wrong. She pushes away people who get to close and never talks about her family life. She will get into fights with people for simply bringing up her father or mother. Kris is a physical person in the sense that she would rather fight it out than talk it out and she would rather bleed than cry. An adrenaline junkie all the way, she will go to great lengths to get that rush. Extreme sports, fights, getting into trouble, anything to just get that feeling. She loves the excitement that comes along with getting in trouble and doing something wrong. She has undiagnosed ADHD and a behavioral disorder. She carries herself with a bit of a lethargic sulk, like she really can't be bothered to give a damn and most of the time she can't. She's angry most of the time, likely to snap at anyone who just looks at her wrong or takes a step in the wrong direction. Though she's stubborn, thick headed, and unpleasant at any given moment, there are a few select people who get to see the good humored side of Kris, mostly her team mates and video game partners. When she's not being a heinous bitch she can be quite funny and super protective of her friends and family. Personal History: Kris was born third in a family with four children and the only girl. Her parents were the typical all American wizarding family, Louis a business man and Heather a house wife who had only ever been good at domestic magic. Everything seemed perfect when they were growing up, they were happy and pleasant, always taking family vacations and having fun. That was only the surface though, if anyone really saw what was going on, they would understand why Kris is the way she is. Louis was a cruel man and Heather completely selfish. Louis had beaten his children into submission and Heather refused to stand up to him on the kids account. Louis and Heather fought fiercely and for years, always getting the kids in the middle of it. Both parents were guilty of neglecting their children, infidelity, and spousal abuse. It started slowly but violence became an every day reality in their lives over time. Every time one of the kids got in trouble at school they were punished harshly at home until they "straightened" up. This militant tactic worked well with all the boys at home but with Kris it simply did not work. The punishments at home made her even worse at school and she defied him even more. The fighting was probably what she remembers the most from her childhood. She used to take Nathanial up to her room, shut the door, and cover his ears as best she could so he would never have to hear the terrible things their father would say about them and their mother. Kris wanted at least one of them to survive childhood unscathed by the violence in their home. She did her best to protect him. The only time she ever really physically stood up to her father was when Nathanial got sent home with a note when he was twelve years old. The note simply said that his grades were dropping and they would like to set him up with the school therapist. Louis was furious, he began beating the boy mercilessly, it was the first time he had ever actually hit Nathanial. Kris intervened, getting in between Louis and Nathanial. She punched Louis in the face and they proceeded to fight. Kris wound up in the hospital with a concussion and a few stitches. The doctors were curious as to how a fourteen year old girl could end up in such bad condition, Louis told the doctors that she was in a fight with another girl from school. When Kris woke up, it was with a vengeance. At fourteen her rep sheet had exponentially grown. At school and out of school she was an absolute terror. She did things just because she knew she would get in trouble for it. Some people called her a glutton for punishment, but really, who was she punishing with all the publicity? Her father, the prestigious business man. She started getting a thrill for it. Vandalism, stealing, basically anything to get the police involved and she never ran. She stood by her work proudly, taking all the credit even if she had accomplices. It was her last defense against her father and her mother. Kris doesn't want anyone to have power over her the way her father has power over her mother and brothers. She tries to make both of their lives a living hell for ruining what could have been a semi-functional childhood. She has been kicked out of every other school on the east coast. Her lack of discipline and bad attitude have been an obstacle for getting her very far in the past, Dresden was the first school that seemed to be able to deal with her attitude and troublesome nature and it was her last option. The ultimatum after this is getting home schooled. Kris is brand new to the school. Next to becoming like her parents, her biggest fear is that she will get kicked out of school and have to be home schooled. She's trying to see her situation from a different angle but is still struggling to stay out of trouble entirely. Other Stuff: I would love for someone to pick up her little brother, he transferred with her to Dresden in an attempt to convince her to behave enough to stay in school. | ||||||||
