Please note, boys: [04 May 2009|10:58pm]
When I tell you that I have never had a boyfriend before, that I have never been kissed, that I have never been in a relationship, that I have never been legitimately hit on by a boy ...

Yes, I am probably flirting with you.

BUT.

I am not suggesting that you be the guy to break me in by being my first in all of those ways and more.

Rather, I am warning you that I am an emotional trainwreck unequipped to deal with all the emotions that may result from a relationship, that I am likely to bail on you halfway through and stop returning your phone calls, that I do not know how to deal with each rejection or acceptance, and that I will probably screw you over emotionally especially because I've never had much experience/truck with those emotions.

So if you take the wrong message away, I am sorry. But I don't think it's my fault, because I did warn you.

(P.S., TS? Un-friending me on Facebook was incredibly juvenile. And I laughed when I realized.)

I'm one of those people that I secretly hate. Just in that I complain and complain and complain and word-vomit my complaints but I never do anything about them. I know a lot about the issues, and I do help with educating others about it, but I rarely actually do anything.

Similarly, when I see an acquaintance after forever, I tend to word-vomit my troubles with school/find a summer internship, but I never study or apply so it's really 活该.

I need to change.

Okay, I have serious "cool" problems. In that there are cool people I know who I really, really, really want to be friends with and really, really, really want to be on good speaking terms with, but for some reason, I just can't ... Or I'm nervous about talking to them because they fall under the mental "cool" category. Do I have this problem with friends? Not terribly ...

Hana Yori Dango Final Movie, Liveblogging [08 Apr 2009|10:18pm]
-The country western music at the beginning confused me SO much. I thought I was watching some Western/indie movie.
-I can't believe this is the result of what the F4 advised.
-<3 U.S. TV Shows just aren't the same as Asian dramas.
-I TOTALLY just realized that Doumyouji is hiding his, um, interest.
-You know, making money via gambling is an oxymoron.
-<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
-Okay, reasons why this plot makes no sense:
1. Testing someone to make sure they deserve to be together --> does not equate immediate forgiveness.
2. Tsukushi's parents would never NEVER object to her getting married to a rich person. This is very out of character for them. I mean, I understand the whole "being a good parent" thing, but where was that logic during the rest of the series?
-Also, Shigeru is cute.
-The theme music TOTALLY clashed with the bridal march that was playing.

Korean HYD Liveblogging [07 Apr 2009|11:22pm]
From 26:25 onwards

-I like Shizuka's dress. But I'm pretty sure it wouldn't look as nice on me -- I should know. I own something similar.
-What does "doufeng" mean? Get some air? Probably.
-Negotiating how much he still owes her is priceless
-I'm glad they kept enough of it original to keep me interested
-Aw, Doumyouji's so sweet.
-I really need to learn everyone's real names.
-The heartbeats sound lie someone's about to have a heart attack.
-Jandi, Junpyo, and Jihoo. Why do they all start with "j?
-Jandi's a creepy drunk.
-Why didn't I see that coming? Drunk people ALWAYS inconveniently vomit.
-Oh, don't tell me they're going to do the "Did I have sex with him/her moment?"
-Oh, they didn't. They had a "You puked on my very expensive clothes" moment.
-This is a hilarious conference call.
-They make cute kids.
-Yes, the scene was funny, but I still don't understand why they couldn't just smuggle her out. Um. You know. Through the servants' entrance or something? Why ... MAKE UP A ELABORATE, CONVOLUTED STORY? Oh yes. Because this is drama.
-That vase is UGLY. And gaudy.
-I keep on waiting for her to rip the dress. Yay, she didn't!
-There are definitely enough new things to keep me interested.
-Also, I thought she sold the dress? Why is she still wearing it? Unless it's the shoes ...? Probably just continuity issues.
-Also, Junpyo was very sneaky with the goggles-buying. I thought he might, and watched him for it, but ...
-I want Jandi to get over Jihoo now, even though I know i won't happen for a while. It's just ... so boring watching her pine after him pining after Shizuka.
-Ji hoo needs to get over his angst.

And now, if I remember correctly, we have drama coming up.

This weekend [06 Apr 2009|01:31am]
Covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ...

Spent weekend at retreat where diet was monitored/ish. Ate a lot of undoubtedly fatty foods BUT also ate vegetables every day. (Well, except today ...) Also had Inn N Out and practically a whole box of Girl Scout cookies.

So far, no books read, no homework done, no tasks accomplished, and plenty of time wasted.

Also, personal fulfillment, etc.
