Barrie, Peter wiki

Age: Somewhere in his 30's; he aged when he left Neverland

Gender/Preference: He hasn't sorted out a sexual preference. He didn't think about it much as a boy, though preoccupied with Wendy Darling's kiss (ie, the thimble) he was surrounded by boys and didn't have much use for girls other than to be his mother (which would certainly start a bad dating trend for him if he ever did take an interest)

Appearance: PB: Anthony Michael Hall as an adult (and later as a child)

He is tall, built with muscle. Very rugged in appearance. He did not age well when he did age, perhaps all of those lost years catching up on him quickly. He can appear extremely ragged when tired and run down. His eyes are shocking, bright blue. His hair is sandy brown, sometimes blond, spiky in his adult years, curly in his youth. His smiles are full of mischief. As an adult he wears faded denim, suit jackets and t-shirts. As a boy he wears clothing made of natural things, cobwebs and leaves, large blades of grass.

Personality: Peter is, in his own mind, a leader by divine right. He is arrogant and jealous, forgetful and full of temper. He can be unforgiving in a moment and then forget that there was ever an offense to be punished moments later. He is adventurous with boundless energy. Often of a one track mind until he loses the thread and moves on to something new.

Strengths: His abject fearlessness, his brilliant imagination

Weaknesses: His night terrors, his reckless abandon

Quirks: Hates the sound of church bells.

Secrets: The night terrors ceased when he became an adult; he doesn't know what this means and he's too horrified by it to tell anyone.

Skills & Abilities: He plays the pan flute and is quite skilled at it, he can speak with animals and is fluent in fey, he always used to be able to find the way to Neverland but this skill was lost upon his aging, he's a skilled fencer having "practiced" with Captain Hook on many an occasion, he's a wonderful mimic able to throw his voice and imitate almost anyone he hears.

Supernatural abilities: He can fly without faerie dust. He can imagine things into existence (though this skill has also faded with age), his moods affect the weather of Neverland (though it is not clear if this happens any where else; it didn't in the real world so far as he could tell).

History: Peter's home was originally England, born to a loving mother. At seven days old he decides to fly (as all infants were formerly birds given to human flesh). He escapes through the window of his bedroom in London and flies to Kensignton Garden. He learns from a man called Solomon Crew that he is a "Betwixt-and-Between" (not quite human and not quite bird). Grasping the concept and deciding to be neither (or both, he can never make up his mind) he retains the ability to fly without faerie dust for the rest of his life. After a time he grew weary of the human world and decided to fly to a place that faeries spoke of, the place of dreams and imagination where a child would never age. Peter had learned of Neverland and no sooner had he wished to know of it's place then he had found it (this could perhaps be an opportunity for a fae to step in, having granted his wish).

Neverland was made from the fabric of children's imagination and his imagination seems to affect the island most, following his logic he is thereby rightful ruler. He was not perhaps the first child to arrive in Neverland (something of a contested thing with the Long Lost Boys, exiled to Nowhereland), but when he arrived it was clear that Neverland was his home and that he belonged to this place as much as it belonged to him. He became the heart of Neverland and his very moods seemed to change the weather, his wildest dreams changed the map.

He ruled for some time and began to collect Lost Boys, those boys who, much like he, did not want to grow up. He also collected Tinkerbell, his dearest and most favorite among the faeries, the only one he would consort with in Neverland. Eventually the Hook had infiltrated Neverland (and Peter refuses to go into detail as to why that is, perhaps this is something he and Hook can divulge later) and was immediately Peter's sworn enemy.

The only thing to ever bother Peter in all of his time in Neverland were the infrequent night terrors that would wake him, his chest constricted, sweat dripping from his brow. He dare not dwell on these terrors but they were all the same. Peter Pan, grown and alone.

He adventured and played all day with his Lost Boys and Tink until a sort of wanderlust came upon him. He could not describe it, but Neverland had become tiresome to him, a nagging sensation like that of wanting to grow up and explore the wider world. Of course, he denied it up and down, but it did not stop him from exploring his former stomping grounds in London. It is here that he came upon the Darling family and listened at the window to Mrs. Darling's delightful tales. He would always return to Neverland before morning, following the stars and his uncanny ability to find Neverland no matter how far he wandered.

One night his shadow slipped away into the Darling home and the rest is as Disney as you can get. Wendy Darling, the eldest child helped him and he convinced her and her erstwhile brothers to join him in an adventure to Neverland.

Fast forward several years. The Darling children have returned home. Peter is leaving Neverland again and listening at the window for the old tales of Mrs. Darling, except now Mrs. Darling is Wendy herself, all grown up with children of her own. Peter finds himself at odds, torn and confused, feeling forgotten and snubbed. He spends as much time away from Neverland as he dares until one day he finds that he cannot remember the way home. He does not realize that by staying away from Neverland so long that he essentially destroyed the only place he'd ever known as home, dooming it to cold and ice and eventual demise.

He tries to return home, but he cannot find Neverland. Stuck in the "real world" he begins to age rapidly away from the magic of Neverland which kept him ever young. It is as if all his years have been bottled up in Kensington Gardens and simply waiting for him to return. As it is he's arrested and spends a night in jail, assumed crazy by Wendy who found him crying by her bedroom window, as an adult and unrecognizable as Peter Pan. He tries to show Wendy the "kiss" they once shared, but she shivers at the poor man's apparent madness. The police release him the next day and poor Peter wanders London, cold and alone. The night terrors that plagued his eternal youth in Neverland had come to shocking fruition, he is now living his worst nightmare. Spooked, terrified, and unrecognizable to even himself, he begins to wander the world, entirely lost.

On one of his wanders trying to find the way home he finds Haven. The magic of Haven revived him and effectively stopped himself from aging anymore. But he's been wandering around so long that he's started to forget who is and where he belongs.

In this form he's still got his boy's intellect, but he has flashes of adulthood, horrible awful adulthood. In truth I think he'd need Tink, Hook, and his Lost Boys to recall his youth completely. Perhaps meeting with each will cause the reverse aging effect.

Anything else we should know:

No particular preference. He is truly an omnivore in terms of sexual appetite.

Appearance: PB: Nick Cave

Tall and lanky. Dark eyes and hair, which he usually wears long. From time to time he sports a mustache or goatee, some combination thereof. He appears most often as a gaunt figure, cloaked mostly in shadows. He chooses to be less attractive than his wife, for reasons he has never revealed. Having been influenced by the human world he likes to wear suits; typically something light and crisp looking. His dress is simple and clean, only changing in shape and cut since the move to suits. He often has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, almost like an accessory. Unlike his wife he does not wear a crown. Oberon has never held with such traditions and abjectly refused an official coronation.

Personality: Jealous and possessive, though hardly dedicated to his own marriage. He is dark, like the shadows around him, moody and often desiring those things he cannot have. He is filled with mischief, being King of the Unseelie. He has a penchant for trouble making and ruses that create havok among humans and other creatures. He is highly unapologetic about everything he does, even when he knows he is in the wrong. He has a sweet side, something that he very rarely shows. When he places his trust in someone it is for life, which explains why he so rarely trusts anyone. It takes a lot to rouse his temper to the point where he'd fight. He is much more likely to toss magic at someone than to raise his fists (when his knuckles are involved its personal). He prefers darkness to light, often wandering in the night and leaving the day to sleep and dream. He is king of one-up-manship with a great desire to always come out on top.

His stress evolves from his need for companionship. He craves the company of others who will find value in his acts and deeds, but he has a degree of uncertainty about himself. He wants to be exceptional and unique and therefore he denies himself the company of others (for the most part) who might find fault in him. He poses a great deal of self restraint and keeps to himself, rarely opening up to others. He is fairly mysterious because he won't answer questions about himself, if they are even asked. He does not volunteer information readily.

He values beauty and finds it in the strangest places. He has always had a skewed perception of the world. Beauty is often gnarled and dark in his eyes, attractive and disturbing at the same time.

Strengths: He has powerful fairy magic and a commanding presence. Those that know Oberon well know he is a force to reckon with. Only Titania seems willing to tangle with him and that is part of the reason why he respects her as queen. He has a good measure of knowledge, which is not to be mistaken with wisdom, something his Unseelie mind rarely takes heed. He has a strong sense of loyalty and duty. He would do anything for his court, and next to anything for a loyal servant in need. He is kind and gentle when he believes no one is looking. He is a fair and just ruler so long as he is not personally involved.

Weaknesses: He is powerfully lazy and is more than willing to send his minions to do his work than to do it himself. Since his minions are Puck and some contingency of like minded fae the jobs usually end up messy and complicated, making more work for him to sort through in the end. He would rather not do anything than to try and fail in his endeavors. He has a fairly common allergy to iron (a seemingly fae trait). He has a measure of vanity and does not like others to see his weakness (or those traits that he considers weakness, such as kindness). He can be cruel and vindictive when he feels he has been slighted (particularly by Titania).

Quirks: Smokes like a chimney stack.

Secrets: There are blank spots in his memory that he can't explain.

Skills & Abilities: Well versed in herbal lore. He can cure most common ailments with his knowledge of plants and wildlife. He's good at potions and simple medicine. He is an excellent cook though few would know it. He is excellent at tracking prey, human and beast alike through the woods. Out of his familiar territory he is not so skilled, but adept at adjusting. He can travel away from the woods longer than fae from the seelie court, particularly since his magic is not so tied to the wood.

Supernatural abilities: He is an excellent practitioner of magic. He has an extensive knowledge of magic spells, particularly those of a dark and arcane nature. He has a bright mind filled with pranks and new ideas, always willing to bend the fabric of time and history to suit his own whims. Unlike his wife he draws his magic from dark places, relying very lightly on the woods.

History: He is not aware how he came into being and the idea to question so never crossed his mind. As a young fae he was dark and mischievous, before the term Unseelie had ever been applied. He knew nothing of courts or the kind of responsibility it brought. He knew only the abject freedom of a new fairy introduced to the world.

His dreams during this time were lush and vivid. He had many ideas that spawned from his dreams, many plots and plans to execute. Oberon, who was not yet known by any name began to practice magic, experiment and learn. He listened to the shadows to guide him, learned from the very fabric of darkness the old secrets of the world.

As time moved forward more fairies came into being (some perhaps before the young king and certainly many after) and Oberon being infinitely curious was quick to know every being he could, though more often than not he was never introduced in person. He was the type to watch from a distance, observe until he found someone or something that struck a cord within him.

As the court formed he was a most obvious choice for king. He was known as the most powerful among the fae and he seemed to know each and every unseelie on a personal level even if they had never spoken with him. He had been known by many names, never properly naming himself by the fae but now he was the Fairy King. He ruled the Unseelie Court from the very first. He has never been questioned in his ruling, even when he endangers the secrets of his people when he plays with humans. His history is greatly intertwined with his wife Titania. Their marriage has been on the rocks for a good deal of time. Oberon is convinced that she's the only one he could ever share a throne with which is a good part of the reason why he won't dissolve their bonds completely.

Before Shakespeare he did not have a well known, common name. Once named Oberon he accepted his fate, becoming more and more like the character in the play, his magical power increasing.

He is something of a wild romantic, a darkly dubious cupid of the forest. He doesn't often allow others to see this side of himself, only Puck knows completely of his matchmaking schemes and how they fare. He has a deep trust in Puck and greatly adores him. If it weren't for the fae's temper and binding contract of servitude he would have set him up as a faerie lord and given him some small court of his own already. When no one is looking (and sometimes when they are) he dotes affectionately upon Puck, his favored boy.

It was by luck in a peculiar sense that Puck switched the changeling boy and landed himself in eternal servitude to the fairy court. Until then Oberon had no one he could truly place his trust in besides his wife and he did not like to discuss Unseelie matters with her. Puck is more in his trust that he should perhaps be.

Oberon has vague memories of a fairy named Mabb, but he has no context for these thoughts. He has vivid dreams of her which slip from his grasp as consciousness washes them away. He genuinely does not understand why she is always in the back of his thoughts, superseding even the thoughts of his own wife, who despite the tension in their relationship he greatly adores. If he thought to look into it deeper he might discover the age old question of the original fairy queen, but Oberon is not the sort to dwell on anything when there are plots and mischief to be had.

Many years of his rule were filled with the chaos and discord he caused among humans. He greatly enjoyed causing mischief, made it his chief concern in those months where Titania ruled over the fairy court. His interest in humans caused some of the trouble in his marriage, particularly his sexual interests. As years passed, centuries of time, their bickering became full out sparring. He began to take to himself, spending time with those fae who valued the same sorts of things he did. Pranking. Drinking. Fornicating. Those sorts of things. He would only return to rule over the Unseelie Court during the fall months and winter (when their court was part of the human world).

During the dark months when he is in command the woods are relatively unsafe to travel. It is not so much that he has less control over his fairies than Titania. It is more that he allows them great liberty and will only punish them when someone crosses an extreme line. He gives all in his court (including himself) enough rope to hang themselves with.

Before the move to Haven Oberon developed the habit of smoking. He has yet to kick it and often rolls his own cigarettes made from herbs in the woods. He also developed a rather human fashion sense from his years spent away from Titania.

He wasn't particularly keen on moving to Haven, but he didn't feel like arguing with his wife. With the continued destruction of their sacred woods and places in the human world it was also a smart move, but not something he'd ever admit to Titania. Packing up and instructing that anything left behind be destroyed (lest the humans should discover it) he moved his court alongside Titania's. Many of the Unseelie fae were begrudging of this move as it happened during their down time of the year. They were tired, ready for sleep or mischief in greener pastures. They didn't want to spend this time traveling and many simply did not want to leave their familiar home. Oberon however had other ideas. He was a united front for his people, instilling in them the will to move to another place, a place where the fae wouldn't have to hide from prying eyes. That thought alone was enough to convince most.

He is still settling into the new court, trying to get used to the feeling of the air of this place. He shows a bold face to his court, but in private he is worried. The upheaval of a mound is one thing, moving an entire court is completely another. There is much left unsettled and many fae still in the lurch.

Anything else we should know:

His first name is something he rarely reveals.

Story: The Pied Piper of Hamelin

Age: He looks to be in his mid 30's, but he's been made relatively immortal by the strength of his story.

Gender/Preference: Male. He's strictly straight, but if he continues to not get laid he may just go for any offers.

Appearance: PB: Damian Lewis

Red hair, blue eyes. He's in good shape and typically well dressed (trying to rid himself of the image of piebald tights). He always has some sort of musical pipe in his pocket, lately it's been a harmonica. He has several small pipes of variety tucked into his bag.

Personality: Fun loving, funny. He has a great sense of humor. He is easy to get along with when he's not being whiny about his romantic prospects.

Strengths: His musical talent and ability to charm any creature to follow him when he plays. His sense of humor is also a strength that he uses to keep himself afloat.

Weaknesses: Once he stops playing the creatures stop following. The only creature that never leaves him alone are rats. He has a tendency to be very emo about his lack of a love life.

Quirks: Often fought in wars as a soldier to pass the time; he retained many of his skills though he no longer practices the art of war.

Secrets: Did horrible things in WWII; he won't talk about it and he disavows ever being a German.

Skills & Abilities: He is well traveled and can survive off the land, setting up camp where ere he might.

Supernatural abilities: Obviously his piping skills. He can play almost any sort of woodwind instrument or horn, though he is not so proud that he doesn't practice. He writes little tunes that can be played circularly. Each song has a different target audience; his mood also influences the outcome of his songs. While he's playing he can influence a targeted group to follow him.

History: His piping skills went back many years. His family had a talent for charms and music; when combined it was magic. Mr. Piper had been trained by his father for many vigorous hours and taught all of the tunes to charm creatures big and small alike.

Piper (as we shall call him since he hates to reveal his first name for embarrassment) was very much like his father. He liked to help people and employed his skills as such, aiding commoner and king alike for fair payments in exchange, enough money to buy food and drink, perhaps to patch or hem his motley clothes (a fashion statement he regrets to this day).

Hamelin was not the first town to ever stiff him on due payment, but it was the first where he was angry enough to do something about it. He led the children from the village most happily to the shock and dismay of those who would not pay up. The legend here is told in several ways. Some say that he led the children to a cave where they were never seen again. Some say that he led the children home on condition that he receive his due payment. For the Piper the tale is not simple. He did lead the children into a remote area of the woods, but once his pipe ceased to make music the children knew that they were lost and a long way from home. Mr. Piper was never so good with children that he knew how to care for them and standing in the woods he was having a serious quandary. His morals told him to bring the children home, but he was still angry and quite hungry. His stomach growling he walked from the woods, leaving the children to whatever fate might claim them. He simply couldn't care after the ordeals of the day.

He often traveled along rivers and found his way back to the river where he had led the rats. It was his father's practice to show no mercy on the vermin he led from towns. The Piper was doing only as he had been taught. Standing at the edge of the river was a very large rat on his hind legs, a crooked crown resting over one of his ears. "You killed my people," the rat said coldly.

"Your people invaded a human town. They had no right."

"You are not judge and jury little piping man," the Rat King accused, for that was who he was.

"No indeed. I am only someone who helps humans in distress."

The Rat King smiled, a strange and grim thing to see on any creature's face. "You will be hard pressed to find any human who will tolerate you now."

Mr. Piper did not know what the Rat King meant, but later that night he discovered the truth. He had been cursed for his part in the deaths of so many rats and rodents before, perhaps for his abandonment of the children in some karmic way. The Pied Piper of Hamelin had been cursed to forever be followed by rats. Sometimes only one single rat followed him, but more often than not it was more than that. He could kill them all, drowning, poison, traps, it didn't matter; the rats would still follow as if attracted by some supernatural force.

Since that moment he has been careful with his disposal of beasts and rodents, often leading them to more verdant pastures. Sometimes he even sides with the creatures and leads whole towns of humans away so that the beasts have free reign over the former lands. He tired of the human world, never aging in his fairy tale status, something that had taken him a long time to come to grips with. All because of Hamelin, a town he hated more every day. When he heard news of Haven through the fairy tale grapevine he thought that it might be time to leave the human world altogether.

He wanders Haven seeking companions and someone who might just tolerate his rats.

Anything else we should know:

When he was "killed" by Eight's brothers he effectively stopped aging

Gender/Preference: He's a boy. He likes girls. I imagine he trifled with boys while on ship, seeing as he wouldn't have much else company. Jokes about butt pirates notwithstanding.

Appearance: PB: Jeff Bridges as the Dude

His most notable feature is possibly his blue beard. The man himself is not even aware how that came to be. His hair is long, sandy brown, wavy and usually unkempt. His eyes are dark brown flecked with blue when his temper is raised. He is tall, with a round belly, more from lack of exercise since he's no longer on the seas than anything else, though his drinking probably doesn't help. He dresses rather sloppily and adores wearing slippers in public.

Personality: He is very polite to women, charming and disarming when his physical appearance is off-putting. Violent and uncivil when his temper is roused. When drunk he is typically on the verge of swinging out of control.

Strengths: While he's not in good shape anymore, he is still physically strong. Charming. His nautical knowledge is unsurpassed.

Weaknesses: His temper: often leads to death or dismemberment, which ever seems like the reasonable answer to the situation at the time. His predisposition to the drink: he will drink himself under the table if he's given an ample supply of booze. His jealousy: leads him to tempt his wives. He tests them and as they fail he kills them. Which is also tied to His paranoia: he believes that all women are unfaithful and dishonest, essentially out to get him. He also tells bad jokes.

Quirks: Can drink more than his weight in alcohol and not die.

Secrets: His heart was pierced by a shard of the Devil's Mirror, he's not aware of it.

Skills & Abilities: A world renowned pirate, he can lead any boat to treasure. He can tell when bad weather is brewing and navigate his way around by the stars.

Supernatural abilities: Uncertain at present.

History: Born Gilles de Rais, Bluebeard had a very normal childhood for a boy in France with noble parents. A journey on a ship started his fascination with the sea and against his parent's wishes he ran off into piracy in teen years.

He started out as a humble pirate, taking the name Eduard de Barbe-Bleu (he liked the name Edward, and Barbe-Bleu just seemed fitting with his queerly blue beard). He worked his way onto a ship, worked his way up the ranks (mostly by his ability to survive and his quick grasp of nautical learning) until he earned his own ship. On a journey to South America he captured a ship and the lovely Senorita Mercedes. He kept her in his parent's château (they had since died) and married her before he left again on another journey, never having consummated the marriage. He left her the keys to every room, including the now infamous hall closet. While in the château all by herself, she explored all of these rooms discovering many treasures that he had claimed in his many journeys as a pirate. Lastly she explored the hall closet. It was here that she found a chest filled with love letters from the local girls. Though Bluebeard had many dalliances his intentions for his new wife were true. She did not know this; incensed she invited the townspeople into the château to plunder his many treasures. She thought it a fair revenge if he was going to cheat on her. Mercedes' plan however was foiled when the local girls who loved Bluebeard so turned on her, accusing her of being a witch. The vicious women tore at her clothes and skin, ripping fabric and flesh, making her bleed. The proud Mercedes would not cry out and therefore only confirmed to them that she was indeed a witch. Mercedes was held without trial and hung by the neck.

Bluebeard returned home from his travels to find his first wife dead, hanged by the neck on the border of his property. He took her down and wept over her body. He had truly loved her in those few moments that they had known each other. He did not understand the ire of the townspeople until he had entered the house. When he found the hall closet and the open chest of letters he knew. He hung Mercedes body in the closet and locked the door. He locked every door in the house when he realized what the townspeople had done.

His mourning commenced with drinking and the drinking didn't stop for many years. He went back to sea and traveled often, only stopping to return to the château when he needed a rest from the ocean.

During his travels he witnessed a peculiar meteor shower, a strange celestial event that was not called for. He did not know that these "meteors" were actually pieces of the Devil's Mirror which had been smashed once again. One of the shards traveling fast and falling towards him had pierced his heart before he knew what had happened. He figured it was terrible heartburn from all the drinking.

It was then that he came up with his great plan. His mind had been turning over the death of his wife at the hands of the villagers. Now his heart, poisoned by the shard was aligned with his dark thinking. His revenge on the village people would start with their daughters. He had many years to fume over it and the corpse of his first wife. He decided that he would marry them, taking their dowry (essentially his own treasures) and their lives if they did not pass his test. Should they open the hall closet, the only room he forbade to find the corpse of his first bride that they would join her in death (and the hall closet).

Seven wives later, seven bodies piled into the closet. He sought out the hand of another village daughter to become his eighth wife. She followed the path of every single one of his prior wives after an entire year in decent matrimony. His discovery of this was disappointing and angering, as it had been with many of his women. He had hoped one of them would prove him wrong, but simple curiosity seemed to best all of them.

He was about to kill her when her brothers arrived and cut short his plans. They killed him, tossed him into the river and assumed him dead. Indeed, he was, but magic and the strength of his faerie tale kept him from dying completely. He awoke, washed up on the shores of the Sleepless Sea.

He did not remember hid death, or what had passed shortly before, the blows to his head had erased his memory.

He quickly established himself in Haven as a skillful navigator and pirate; before long he had his own ship to sail on the Sleepless Sea.

Anything else we should know: His plot concerns the Snow Queen and the Devil's Mirror.

She is often too busy being wicked to bother much with sex.

Appearance: PB: Anjelica Huston

Tall with delicious curves. Her skin is deathly pale, her eyes darkly set. Her hair is long and black, usually left down, sometimes styled into a twist or dyed with some funky color in streaks (usually when she's attempting to be hip and modern). She likes hats but rarely finds proper occasions to wear them, or the clothing to wear them with. She is most often in black or dark, bloody reds. Unlike her Disney image she likes her clothes skin tight, low cut, and luxurious. She almost always wears tall, black boots that lace up to her knee. Under her boots are rainbow striped socks, a deep, dark secret that Carabosse keeps only for herself. Her makeup is expertly done when she is not wearing a clean face, typically smoky eyes and bloody lips.

Personality: She has a deep sense of humor, though few people seem able to key into it. When her mind is set on something she will follow it through to the bitter end.

When befriended Cara will do everything in her power to aid you. When crossed Cara is your worst enemy. Unfortunately for most Cara is easily crossed and difficult to befriend. She is very, very picky about her companions.

As a faerie godmother she is both a blessing and a curse. Her kindness is immeasurable, yet her cruelty is world renowned. Few of her godchildren survive her "gifts," but those that do seem to flower into the very image of success (even those who survive in adversity).

Strengths: Powerful magic which she uses commandingly. She is savvy and shrewd, careful with whom she associates. She is able to keep many strands of thought in her head at once.

Weaknesses: She does not care for sunlight as it hurts her eyes. She is shackled with something she calls "the Disney Curse" or "Disney Blight," though she certainly got the shallowest of curses amongst her brethren. Her temper is foul and easily ignited. Closed off and secretive, she is hard to truly know. Even those in her inner circle are kept at arm's length.

Quirks: - Gardens to center herself and gain focus.
- Isn't particularly motherly

Secrets: She may have a daughter.

Skills & Abilities: She is a snazzy dresser. She gardens, mostly night blooming flowers as those are the only kind she can be bothered to tend. She's also something of an architect hobbyist. She designed several of the castles she dwelt in, though others built them. Her designs are always focused on drawing magic up and into her sanctuary.

Supernatural abilities: Well versed in dark magics she can conjure any curse from memory or imagination.

History: Carabosse started out like many of her fellow fae, nameless and infinitely curious. She strayed to the darkness, like many of her unseelie ilk, yet she bathed in it completely. Cara was breathlessly fearless.

One day she simply decided that the darkness, though curious and invigorating, was not the end all be all of her existence. What a wonderful thing to be a faerie godmother, she thought and without much more thought than that she just jumped into the career with serious zeal. Even she could not explain why she decided to get into the business of faerie god-mothering. It was just something to do.

Many of her early god children did well, though often turned dark like their patron. In the middle section of her career more of them met horrible endings as they turned on her, or their families insulted her enough that she would curse them. She had dealt in many such curses before Sleeping Beauty, but it is perhaps her best known work since it was the first where one of her cousins thought to curb her appetite for destruction.

The real story follows the original tale. She considers what Disney did to her memory an insult and a curse, though truthfully it did not diminish her powers (as some of her brethren have suffered at the hands of Walt and his cartoonist fiends). After the prince "slayed" her she slunk off into the woods and took time to heal and rebuild her reputation; she was fey after all and not easily killed by mortal weapons.

After the real story took place she laid low for a time. Parents would cross themselves and lock their windows and doors when a new child was about to be born. No one wanted a curse in place of a gift and so few of them knew the proper formalities, the ways in which they could pay respect to Carabosse without inflicting social injury. She took the hint and didn't waste her time on mortal godchildren. She looked for other ways to occupy her time.

Mostly she wandered the world as it changed from medieval to modern. Society sprang up alongside of technology in surprising new ways. She still preferred the arcane to things like machinery, but she was never one to shy away from it either. She took an interest in seeing how things worked bringing them back to her castle, still residing in the faerie tale lands. There she would take all manner of things apart and put them back together as they were or in combination with other things.

She also spent a great deal of time mastering enchanted sleeps. Merryweather was not the only faerie who could think to undue her in such a way. She wanted to understand the magic that they used and before long she had a mastery of all things sleep related.

After Disney redid her story she decided to dive back into the darkness (almost as if in answer to the question of her character which she feels the Disneyfied version of her tale dredged up). The darkness still held many questions for her, a deep fascination that she had not forgotten only forgone. She was so involved in the magic and the chaos that she did not notice when the faerie tales started to disappear. Only when she ran into an old friend, Puss de Carabas did she learn of Haven.

Carabosse, being a practical faerie sent Puss ahead to explore the region before she would enter it herself. Upon his word (which took longer to send because he has difficulty writing with paws) she arrived and set herself up in a penthouse apartment (though she'd much prefer a castle of her own).

Anything else we should know:
