I am definitely glad school is out for the summer. No school means more hours at the restaurant and probably a little babysitting on the side. It's so much easier to make and save some money when I don't have classes to get in the way.

I'd be half tempted to drop out and just get my GED, but Mom would have a fit. I don't know why she has such an issue. It's not like she cares about anything ELSE I do. It's not like I couldn't still go to college if I could afford it School just seems really pointless when I could be working.

Ugh, am I the only one NOT going somewhere tropical for Spring Break? I'm sure you'll all have fun while I'm slaving away waiting tables. The DePaolo's have been nice enough to give me some extra shifts for the week, though. I'm looking forward to all the extra tip money!
