Growing Lizards [13 Aug 2007|07:53am] [ mood | thirsty ] [ music | // Acceptance - "Over You" // ] Before we went to the barn yesterday we played some of emilie's horse game. Then we played some Super Mario Strikers. It's so much fun, although we don't really know any of the controls so we're sort of figuring them out as we go along. I did figure out how to do the mega kick haha It get you like 5 goals in one shot. I suppose we should go to the 101 Tutorial Section. Although if I did that then I would know all the moved and poor Emilie would get clobbered. Oh well :) We got this little toy lizard yesterday. I don't think I mentioned it in my previous post, but it's actusally an egg that you stick in water and then it hatches and grows. Well I looked at it this morning and it's head and half it's body is poking out now. I would assume by the time I get home it'll be all the way out and then I have to change the water (or so the directions say). It's neat. Today my iMac should be coming in. UPS says it's made it's way to Barre, just hoping that status changes to "Out for delivery". I cannot wait cause it's definitely going to improve my productivity. I love this little PowerBook but unfortunately it's just isn't good enough for the things I want to do. It'll do them, but it's a bit slow when you're working in Photoshop, iPhoto, have a few Coda windows open and 4-5 Safari windows open. Great for email and doing those things one at a time though! I've pretty much tagged all the movies that I have in iTunes. There are still 4-5 that I need to convert, but then I'll be all caught up...for movies. I still have a million TV shows that need to be properly named and numbered. That and 11 seasons of South Park to work with haha It's such a project. Well I should get some breakfast and then head into work. I'll put out a review of my iMac tonight or tomorrow. Of course some pictures too :) post comment

New Intel iMac! [13 Aug 2007|11:33am] [ mood | excited ] [ music | // Blink 182 - "Untitled" // ] Today I got my new iMac. The last time I got an iMac was one of the first iMac G5s. I would have to say that besides the change to the Intel chip, this is one of that largest updates to the iMac line. It now includes the Intel Extreme chip, glossy displays, 802.11n wireless networking, a better video card, the new Apple keyboard and iLife ‘08. While I haven’t done much more then turn it on, I’ll be playing with it over the next few days. I’ll put up a review then. For now enjoy some more pictures on our Flickr page! post comment
