Tilden was really lucky that he was insanely cute.
Really bloody lucky, because otherwise
Daisy would have dumped him off for one of the marginally handsome men trolling the room without girls on their arms by now.
Like! He had totally been ignoring her half the night. Every time she was just starting to have fun, all of a sudden he had to go to the bathroom or---get punch--or something, and you know, if he just stopped getting so much punch he wouldn't have to go to the bathroom so often! But he didn't seem to be hearing her half the night anyway. She had been attempting to talk about
Herbology, a subject which she quite honestly found inferior to being clubbed by an angry horde of baby seals, but it was like he was off in another world. Almost like he was on edge about something.
Growling under her breath just audibly, Daisy pushed herself out of the chair where he had left her (
ten minutes ago, she might add) and walked to the edge of the dance floor, coming up beside a brunette in a deep red dress. "Kind of boring, isn't it?" she commented as she adjusted her
mask.
