Even though she contemplated it, Emmeline was really glad she hadn't gotten rid of her healer robes. Part of her hadn't been able to part, while the other side ranted that it was just going to make her feel guilty for not finishing the internship. In any case--they were coming in handy now, as the hospital staff seemed too busy and in a frenzy to realize that she wasn't actually an intern.
Emmeline had been assigned to the Spell Damages floor, and had ducked into an elderly patient's room who she had known to be in spell induced coma that he could wake from---well they estimated three to four years. So glad that they hadn't moved him to the long-term damage ward, because it was the easiest place to hide out until she needed to start putting up the wards on the lift and stairwell.
She slipped out quickly, head ducked down and looking at charts as she headed toward the lift. Emmeline made that it look like she was too engrossed in the charts to notice that everyone had boarded, and once the doors closed and she checked that the hall was empty, she began to get to work.
