-- BACKDATED
Who: Mackenzie Goldstein & Christopher Loftus
What: He's a very bad brother.
Where: Goldstein house :[
When: Yesterday!

When Mackenzie heard knocking coming from the front door, she would have bet her life that it was Sebastian. A bit of a strange way to announce that he had finally home, but how could it not be him? None of her former friends were ever going to set one foot anywhere near this house again, and none of his would dare show when they knew fully well he wasn't here. So Mackenzie leapt up from her slumped position on the kitchen table with great hope, never racing so fast to a door in her entire life.

Her face immediately dropped at the sight of her older brother. Christopher watched her innocently on the doorstep, breaking out into one of his usual smiles at the sight of her. "Mackenzie," he spoke gently, his gaze never leaving her face despite how quickly hers turned hostile.

"Stay away from me," Mackenzie hissed, her grip tightening on the door as she went to throw it shut. Christopher reacted much faster, however, and jammed his hand into it mid swing. She let out a choked sound as he easily overpowered her, dragging the door back open forcefully.

Christopher sighed. "Why would you go and do that?" His voice still sounded tender, but the look on his face made her stumble back. How quickly his face had changed, she had never seen him like before. Or, at least, she had never tried to remember if he had before... Mackenzie shook her head and she blinked quickly. No, he was no longer welcome in this house, he should have never been; Anthony was upstairs, she would not let her-- her death eater brother just barge in because he wanted to!

"Get out," she attacked him vehemently, using both her hands to push on his chest. But before she could do that, Christopher grabbed onto her wrists, and she strained weakly under his grasp. He let go of her just a swiftly as he had caught her, his eyes pulled tight into two slits.

"I see you're having yet another aversion to eating, little sister," Christopher sneered, taking the opportunity to look her up and down critically. She blanched, only able to falter back from him more. Mackenzie's jaw dropped as she suddenly realized her wand was not in her pocket, and her brother was not going to hold back anymore.

"Look at yourself. All this for some worthless piece of filth," his lip curled up as he spoke, face turning to look like he smelled something repulsive. "Don't you have any self respect?" Her mouth began to quiver, and Christopher sighed loudly. "No, you don't, do you?"

Mackenzie began to step back from him, and he made no point to approach her. His eyes were locked on hers, and that was all he needed. "At one point, Mother was so proud of you. Her little gem, her little Mackenzie. Going to grow up right, marry right, make us all so proud. I have no idea what she saw in you, I always knew you would do something like this. Run away, marry a mudblood, turn into a muggle. No one believed me, and yet, here you are."

She continued to stare at him, wide-eyed and shocked. "Why are you doing this!" Her voice quivered as she spoke, her hands grabbing randomly at anything behind her.

Was she... serious? Christopher looked at her with such interest for a few moments, it seemed like he had completely lost his train of thought. Was she honestly that delusional? Deciding for the worst, his face turned to show a much nastier than she could have ever imagined.

"Did you think you could dishonor our family the way you did and get away with it?" His voice shook with such venom that she couldn't help but wince. "Did you honestly think there would be no repercussions? That everything would just 'go away'? That we would be fine with you sullying our name because you decided to become a disowned disgrace? It wasn't like this was the first time, sister. You will always be a stain on my family tree, and I will always be here to remind you of that."

By some stroke of luck, Mackenzie felt her fingers finally wrap around her wand as Christopher spoke, and once he had finished she brandished it at him. The fleeting thought that this was a very bad idea because he was an auror skirted through her mind, but what else could she do?

Mackenzie gripped her wand tighter as she spoke. "You're a death eater," she whispered fiercely to him. "I should turn you, I should've turned you in a long time ago. You and--- Grayson and Am---"

"Put that down, Mackenzie," Christopher snapped, producing his wand to knock hers away. "Do you want to be killed?" He looked at her aggressively for a few moments, then rolled his eyes.

"You react the same way every time, you know that? Like it's some big fucking surprise that I'm working for the Dark Lord, that our family is very closely tied to him. I would at least expect you to not be so shocked every once and a while. I've always known you weren't that bright, though, so I guess I shouldn't expect much." As he spoke, Christopher began to raise his wand, looking at her like she was another tedious chore that needed to be completed.

"What are you talking about? What are you going---"

"Obliviate!"

She really needed to learn how to keep her mouth shut.
