Oh she was talking. Andre perked up and looked at her toes. What about her toes did she want to know? Were they there? Were they moving? They were both. "They're moving" he said pressing his forehead to her's gently.
He breathed such a big sigh of relief. Adelaide was awake. She was talking. "Oh you're awake. Thank god."
And then he was crying again. Only this time Adelaide was awake. He was pretty sure he had never cried in front of her before. In fact up until last week he was pretty sure that everyone in the hospital thought tears were impossible for Healer Jordan.
"I was so scared I'd lost you." he said kissing her gently.
