Sarah didn't know it was possible to feel
so pretty and
so dumb at the same time. Well--maybe it was
true, what they said about blonds.
BLONDE! She was
blonde, and it was supposed to be this big surprise for Brier when he came home today, but she and Rory had gotten distracted with valentine making and she'd left the dye in for
too long and instead of the highlights/light color, she was a blindingly blonde,
blonde.
Except she thought she looked
reaaaallly cute with it, she just felt so
dumb that it was overpowering her desire to look at herself in the mirror. It also didn't help that the entire place was full of perfect women who had hairstylist to make sure that
their dye jobs weren't done accidentally and with too much pizazz.
Sarah kept fidgeting as she waited for Brier to return, tucking her hair behind her ear, annoyed that her recent haircut (the beginnings of this total hair makeover) was too short to at least tie the hair up and attempt to hide it. She let out a breath as touching her hair reminded her about how stupid she was, and she poked one of the floating red baubles by the window.
