"Mmm," Carys let out, shaking her head, "they're not. Your laundry must've gotten dropped off because there they were just sitting pretty on top of the pile." She ran a hand over her face, just feeling...tired. She was tired, she'd been really tired these past few weeks and acting like she wasn't tired was exhausting in itself. Some part of her mind was jumping up and down, freaking out about why she hadn't smashed the glass on Drake's forehead yet.

Carys shrugged, unsure of what to say next. Most of her did believe him, but part of her remembered his reputation and how she'd never even heard of Drake having a girlfriend before. But she thought she knew him, so she should trust him, but she'd had people lie to her before and it fucking sucked, it really did and----

Her face screwed up as if she were going to sneeze, but she was really trying not to cry because she could not understand what was going on with her. She managed to control the slight fracture in composure and just shook her head.

"Forget it, it's dumb, I'm being dumb, it's probably mine," she kept shaking her head as she smiled up at him, just looking tired. What did it matter if he was sleeping with someone else, anyway? Her expression cracked slightly at the thought and she looked away toward the crowd; no one even knew they were dating, what did it matter?
