Caden Flint ([info]silex) wrote in [info]valesco,
“Is that right…?”

Caden replied with a smirk that matched his wife’s, finding that he was intrigued by what she was saying – he could only be so interested though, seeing how her talking this way was extremely out of character for her, and he had to wonder what was going on to make her stoop to the level of peaking his interest in this way, just to try and convince him to leave…that is, if that was what she was trying to do.

It was working, but that was beside the point.

The sound of a voice coming from the side made him turn his head, his smirk fading as brows furrowed, damn near blinded by the bright flash of a camera. He scowled, lifting a hand to lower the device from the photographer’s face.

“Bugger off.”

It wasn’t a question, but a demand, and the way his lips pursed made that clear to the photographer, who cowered and stepped away from the massive Quidditch star. Sighing, he looked down to Estella.

“…what’s going on with you tonight?”

His voice dropped lower, keeping their conversation between the two of them, not wanting to draw too much attention to the fact that she was definitely…off. He wasn’t mad, just concerned, and his expression portrayed that as he looked down at her, his hand lifting in order to fix her bangs so they weren’t caught in her eyelashes.
