Hogsmeade Valentine's Spectacular! Friday, the 14th
Now, Holly was definitely not someone who enjoyed the frills and lace of Valentine's Day. Usually, she hated it, it was in the top five list of things she hated, but this year? She felt like celebrating. It had been a damn good year, and Holly was taking every opportunity to showcase the good bloody mood she'd been in. Sure, there had been its blips (McCormack owed her quite some bit), and each moment made her appreciate each and every day.

But that was the sort of sappy stuff she and her husband didn't say, so that was why she had insisted that their visit to Hogsmeade tonight was to crack jokes and judge the couples that took this holiday way too seriously.

It was turning out to not be as horrendous as one may have thought. Hogsmeade was a village on display, each store front lit up with lights, the street lamps giving off sprays of glitter and confetti as couples walked past. The different food places had set up heating spells around outside tables and counters, the aroma completely filling her every sense. The lake had turned into a beautiful ice rink, while a magical ferris wheel lit up the sky. The village had always amazed her, knowing that it was the only place in the country wizards and witches could be completely at ease with their magic outside of Hogwarts.

"Good thing they didn't let the kiddies out," Holly said, eyes catching sight of the castle in the distance. "They'd ruin the romance."

- Hogsmeade is open to all! The village streets are sort of like a Valentine's fair, hosted by Madam Puddifoot's (so you know there's some cheesy stuff).
- For some ADDED FUN, a little trickster has laced the chocolate supply with a truth serum. The amount of chocolate your character ingests, the more truthful/the longer they are under its spell. Soo...that could lead to some fun, y/y? >:D
- ALSO, for players on non British Isles teams, this is the last weekend to be home because practice for the WC starts after Valentine's Day! So get those feels out because you're shipping out!

Maggie had been trying very hard to ignore the fact that she and Adrian were going to be separated for what felt like an eternity. Shouldn't a marriage have some sort of pull over team spirit and housing and all that rot? She desperately tried not to show the anxiety that was growing as the deadline to head to practice came closer. Not only was she going to be apart from her husband, but her children were going to be staying with their grandparents. How was she supposed to handle this situation with grace and dignity?

She crushed her lips against Adrian's, shoving him harder against the wall of the alleyway. Some remarks about how this had been the perfect spot to hide out and snog during their school days led to a quick venture into the darkness. Perhaps she could stretch their last few hours together by embarking on some mischievous and almost out-of-character behavior.

"Mm," she let out into his mouth, refusing to part for air. All evening, as they talked and laughed during dinner and dessert, Maggie felt her worry continue to rise, so she'd silenced her thoughts with kisses and flirtatious murmurs. Perhaps she can push all thoughts bad thoughts away once her hands managed to get under his cloak. It was cold out, but maybe they could heat things up.

"What am I going to do without you?"

"Be sad," Adrian lamented, tipping his chin up ever so much to help sell his completely distraught face. He felt in far too good of a mood to actually feel so, it should be noted, and why should he be? He was currently partaking in a much-deserved snog with his beautiful wife in the alley, was currently not stuffed in an overly-offensive red and pink restaurant, and only had exciting hope and prospects to look forward to for the next month. Captaining Portugal for the World Cup--- New York City--- Maggie's bum in public! What more could a wizard ask for?

Perhaps less of a zero degree chill in the air, but he supposed he couldn't have everything.

"Be so very sad," he managed, a sly smile appearing on his face as his grip stayed firmly on Maggie's rump. Adrian leaned forward to kiss her again. "Woe. Cry." He really did make the funniest jokes, he really had no idea how Maggie wasn't constantly doubling over in stitches. Most likely not now because she currently seemed very determined to attack him in the most pleasurable of ways up against this wall. He would allow it. "You know, German things."
