He was being completely and utterly rude (and weird), and a very large part of her wished to simple vanish and let him think that he was being tugged around by not only his sister, but herself. So close to just disapparating, or to at least shrug awkwardly as if she didn't want to reveal a secret. No, she was just not in the mood for Caradoc's games right now, and seeing as she didn't know anything, well---Emmeline did not like not knowing things.
"Not a word," she said with a breath, eyes now scanning the crowd for a drink. Yes, she desperately wanted to have a good time at the wedding, but for nearly a year she'd been suppressing her worry about Anneliese entering this marriage, and now seeing her in the white dress and dancing with Jugson-- it all seemed to be rushing to the forefront of her mind and she could not stop thinking about it.
Ignore the fact that she was dating a death eater; Caradoc at least had the Order on his side. Jugson was...maybe the auror training had changed him, maybe, but that day in her old house still jumped to mind every time she saw him. Quite annoying, quite---unnerving. Maybe this could be good for Anneliese...they wouldn't hurt one of their own, right?
