Subverted Under: The Game
The Game
This game is a catch all for our various characters whose games have ended.

As such, various kinds of magic and alternate realities exist, but it is assumed that these remain hidden to the world at large and the characters who possess such abilities would keep it secret.

The asylum, university, and apartment building are the main areas of play, though there are many places in the city and in Pleasantview for play, as well as "real world" locations (depending on where our characters originated from).

Subverted Under
This part of the game takes place in the city. It involves anyone who lives there, but especially the people who live in the 11 story apartment building near the heart of the city.

Burnham is the moderately sized fictional city. It is a bustling center of commerce and activity. There are a fair share of tall buildings in the center of the city, including an 11 story apartment building (among other apartment buildings, but this is the tallest). There are two universities, one just outside of the city (a mostly closed, prestigious campus: Heaton University) and one inside the city located in several buildings (Burnham University). There is a mass transit system in place, buses and cabs and a small subway system (that links Pleasantview and the city).

Pleasantview
This part of the game takes place in the town of Pleasantview. In Pleasantview there are the typical small town things (the post office, town hall, elementary schools) as well as a growing community college that competes with Burnham and Heaton Universities.

Pleasantview Asylum Mental Health Facility
This part of the game takes place entirely in the PMHF. It's for the staff of the PMHF and its patients. It's situated high on a hill on the outskirts of Pleasantview.
