Random Scenario Meme - Iris and Varon - Scene 4 prompt 10
Iris stood in the small room in the church and looked at herself in the full length mirror. The dress was exquisite and absolutely beautiful. Today was /the/ day and in an hour or so she would be a married woman.

The relationship with Varon had been strange to say the least, but they worked as a couple. He had made her the happiest girl in the world when he asked her to marry him. She said yes without hesitation and a second later she was starting to plan the wedding.

Terran matrimonial proceedings were certainly involved. First had been the obtaining of permission. Then had been the purchasing and presentation of the ring. Then had been the announcing.

Then the wedding planning.

And planning.

And PLANNING.

And planning.

Then had come the debauching amongst other men and observing of women removing their clothing.

And now, the ceremony.

He knocked at the door to his beloved's room, knowing he wasn't supposed to actually see her. "Are you prepared, my shining star? I will still honor my promise to fly you away from all of this if you decide it is not what you want."

	Iris finished the last few touches and exited the room. It was time to get married. Pippi was her maid of honor and walked down the aisle before Iris. When it was Iris' turn she held her father's arm and somehow the two of the managed to WALK down the aisle. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
