Why another RPG icon community?
Because frankly, I wasn't satisfied with the other ones that are out there. I'm picky, OK?

Can I join the community / add it to my f-list?
Of course! It's encouraged! ~~However, if you join the community you will not be granted posting access until you have submit sample icons.~~ I think I might just be keeping this for myself. >_>

Not a question, but awesome! To show your thanks, why not comment to the ones that you are taking? People love to see their icons are being used.

Why do you only have 40 icons of the PB I want?

I believe in the old saying quality vs. quantity. Plus I probably got bored at around icon number 35. Feel free to check my affiliates for more icons!

You don't own the pictures. Why do I have to credit?
First off, I took the time to make the icons. Yes, i know we don't own the images or the people in them. It's just right to give credit where credit is due. How would you feel if you worked on something, only to have someone else claim it as their own? Secondly, if you liked the icons, other people probably will too. With crediting, they can easily find their way back here and find what they are looking for. Share the love people!

ZOMG CAN I ADD TEXT TO THESE ICONS???
No. If you do. I'll hunt you down, gut you, and put them out on display like Anya at Christmas. Just. Don't. Do. It.

But why?
Were eminent death-threats not enough? Sigh. Because most RP communities would rather you not have text on your icons, and while some are very tasteful, some are just downright awful. It just gives a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing look to your character's journal. Also, because I said so. So, nyeh.

However, if you want to add a border, go right ahead. I don't like them, but I know some people do so knock yourself out with the borders.

Do you take requests?
At the moment, I'm not taking request. Most of my icons are made because I either a) need them for a character or b) found a PB that struck my fancy. Requests are very hard for me to fill. However, feel free to suggest someone! I love finding new PB and my WireImage account needs to pay for itself.

My character has weird color hair/eye/skin! Can you help?
Actually, YES. Just put in a request and I’ll see what i can do. This takes a lot longer then regular icons, so you'll have to be extra patient. Sometimes, however, it just doesn't work, so be warned.

Do you have icons of so and so?
Check the directory.

What is hot linking and why is it a mortal sin?
Bandwidth theft or "hot linking" is direct linking to a website's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using a tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, journal, weblog, forum posting, etc. A simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it.

Just don't do it.
