[ORDER MEMBERS] These journals prove themselves more and more useful by the day, don't they? It makes everything so much easier; staying in touch with friends without ever actually having to see them, writing dull thoughts that are meant to be private but mysteriously become very private, and, oh--- and it surely helps secret rebel groups keep together. Throw around ideas, ban together. That is, until one of them falls into the wrong hands.
Really Dumbledore, we expected you to pick a smarter group of children that would understand how influential these things really can be.
Of course, I've already taken the liberty to flip through Miss. Meadow's (or should I say future Mrs. Dobb's? One of my friends had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Dobbs last night. What a charming fellow when he isn't screaming) journal to see who we have been dealing with for the past few years. So sneaky you all have been, hiding in the shadows. Here we are, wearing masks and yet it seems that you knew more of us than we did of you. Well, not anymore, the fields are, as they rightfully should be, even.
Oh, and before I forget--- Miss Meadows wanted me to express to you that she misses you all very dearly. But don't worry; we're keeping her nice and safe for you for the time being.
However, now I must bring up the sticky part of this friendly note. You have something, or I should really say, someone that I most certainly want to see. Our proposition is simple: we will return Miss Meadows back to you, for the most part unharmed, by midnight of the 11th, if you are able to somehow produce Mr. Dearborn in her stead. Think of this as something of a peace trade. She most certainly belongs with you, and he most certainly belongs with me.
You see, Mr. Dearborn has been delaying a small talk with me for quiet some time now, and I am afraid the content of it is of the most urgency. You can understand that Dumbledore, can you not? We have been trying to find him for almost a week now, so you can imagine how my patience has grown thin.
So let's think. Now where should we meet... of course, someplace rather remote where there will be no chance of outside casualties. Wales, perhaps? Yes, I think that's fitting. Godric's Hollow seems appropriate.
We will hold up our end of the bargain, if you can yours, of course. Though I shudder to think what will happen to Miss Meadows here if you decide to back out... I'm afraid I can say with certainty that she won't have enough time to become Mrs. Dobbs if that is the case. [ORDER MEMBERS]
