Area Map: New Meridian


New Meridian is approximately 35 miles by 27 miles in area. The coastline to the east is approximately 19 miles long. Only the main road north-south and east-west are on the map, as well as Silk Road (curving and narrow) turning into the Dark Way (straight and narrow) at it's northmost end, and the loop road in the Government Quarter. All alleys and other minor streets are left ambiguous so that players can use/create them as they see fit. The area north of Silk Road is considered residential: more upper-class near the north-south road, and more lower-class towards the Telern border and the Dark Way. South and east of Silk Road is the shopping district, ranging from high-end boutiques to your average mom-and-pop discount store.

The landmarks are as follows:
1. Parliament buildings and grounds
2. Palace grounds and gardens
3. New Meridian Records Hall, containing the public library
4. LEO Headquarters, containing a small detainment facility for minor offences such as public nuisance
5. Racegrounds and gardens, can be used for events
6. Open-air market, backs onto Fisherman's Wharf. Best place in New Meridian to get fresh food
7. New Meridian Clinic for Health and Wellness
