When it comes to photography there are plenty of accessories you are able to own, however in my estimation none of them are as useful like a good tripod. If you're into landscape photography then owning a tripod is a must. If you don't know what tripod to get then don't worry, relax and keep on reading because in the following paragraphs I will let you know about all of the good tripods available to fit your budget.

Cash is no option - Gitzo GT3541

If spending $800 on the tripod alone doesn't sound best to you then I can see where your originating from, however since you may have discovered previously purchasing a good quality item always helps you save profit the long run. I currently own this model Gitzo and I absolutely love it. After i spent the $800 on the tripod I thought to myself what have I done, however after constant use and abuse the Gitzo has matched what I wanted it to complete every single time.

The reason why I love this tripod is that it's totally carbon fibre; you will not find any aluminum here. The reason why graphite is much better is the fact that it's lighter, stronger and vibrations are dampened going through it, all of this results in one thing, better image quality. In case your hoping to get an aluminum tripod, don't.

I've absolutely battered this tripod, I've dropped it, banged it, scratched it but it still holds up such as the day When i first pulled it out of the box. No doubt this tripod has saved me a lot of money and I'm highly glad I got myself it.

055xprob

I can spend a little although not too much - Manfrotto 055XPROB

The Manfrotto 055xprob is a superb tripod for those with around $200 to spend. It's sturdy, reliable and affordable however it does have some problems. The paint on the Manfrotto appears to come of quite easily, I'm not the most careful when it comes to looking after tripods but having used the Manfrotto on the few separate occasions I did have the ability to scratch a substantial amount of paint off it, however this has nothing to use the general excellence of the tripod having the ability to hold my DSLR camera in position.

Another small problem I've using the Manfrotto is that the centre Column consists of plastic, now this isn't that big of a problem however it means that you may have to become a little more careful to using this tripod so you don't crack this plastic.

Redeeming features with this tripod include:

Quick action leg locks
Built in spirit level
Affordability

Overall the Manfrotto 055XPROB is a superb option for photographers with little money to spend on the tripod.

manfrotto 055

I have no budget - Dolica AX620B100

If you are seeking an easy, affordable tripod that merely does the job then your Dolica ax620b100 is a suitable tripod. The aluminum based tripod can hold as much as 13lbs and is ideal for any beginner DSLR photographer. Overall the tripod won't match the tripods above however this tripod can be purchased for under $40 so pricier to complement the Manfrotto or Gitzo. It is rather simple, light and can be carried around all day long without any problems.
