I went to look at your journal, and there wasn't anything there. I mean, nothing at all. Just a nearly blank screen, with a request to leave a comment. So, I'm doing so.

If you want to be added as a contact, you really need to have content up, otherwise anybody who adds you is showing great disrespect for his readers. What would you think of somebody who told you to go check out somebody's site, if once you got there, there was nothing to see? If I added you now, putting a link to your profile on some publicly visible friends list, that's what I'd be doing, and I don't feel that would be right.

You have to write something, and you have to make it publicly visible. Come on, there has to be something that you're interested in. Don't even worry about whether or not what you're writing is any good, at first. Do you know what freewriting is? It's not much to look at, but it's a decent way to get going.
