DIAGON ALLEY

Ollivanders
The only, and best, wand shop in Wizarding Britain, run by Mr. Ollivander. A narrow and shabby little shop. The window displays a faded purple cushion upon which sits a single wand. The walls are lined floor to ceiling with thousands of narrow boxes. The furniture consists of a single spindly chair.

Gambol & Japes
The main competition to Hogsmeade's joke shop, Zonko's. You can buy Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks here among a wide variety of tricks and practical joke items.

Magical Menagerie
The walls are covered with cages and the place is noisy with the sounds of all the animals. The proprietor is a witch who wears heavy black spectacles. She offers advice and sells things like rat tonic. There are a variety of animals including pets that are allowed at Hogwarts and other more 'exotic' creatures.

Gringotts
Large white marble building, mostly staffed by Goblins, so don't even think of trying to rob it if you knowwhat's good for you. Plan your day around spending a lot of time in line if you need to make a withdrawal and don't try and touch the dragons. The curse breaker's headquarters is located in Gringotts.

Waterstones Library
Originally built to be a bookstore, the owners converted it into a lending library early last century. Waterstones carries a wide variety of wizard and muggle research materials as well as for pleasure reading. Not as extensive as the library at Hogwarts, but perfect for the casual reader or the occasional researcher.

Madam Malkin's Robe Shop
Everyday wizard robes, dress robes and Hogwarts school robes are to be found here. During one summer sale, they sold robes which are spangled, self-ironing, beautifying, slimming, fattening, lengthening, temperature-adjusting, and plain, with a free frog-skin belt with every purchase. Every purchase is magically tailored to fit.

Flourish & Blotts
The leading bookstore in Diagon Alley carries many varieties of books including The Monster Book of Monsters and The Invisible Book of Invisibility. F&B carries all textbooks on the Hogwart's text list exclusively, minus any second hand or out of date versions. The manager is a bit mean, but then again, dealing with book signings and books that bite, it can't be avoided.

Quality Quidditch Supplies
You got quidditch needs? QQS can fill them! They carry everything quidditch related from pads and polish to brooms and servicing kits. Children and broom enthusiasts can often bee seen with their faces pressed up against the glass display of the latest broom on the market.

Daily Prophet
STOP THE PRESSES! Only, not really, because without these offices, the Wizarding world wouldn't get their news! You can pay to place adverts or get a free bit in the classifieds. You can't visit the offices, but you know that their reporters and columnists are definitely hard at work writing out the day's news! If you have complaints or want to speak to the editor, please do not come down here. Just send them an owl!

Slug & Jiggers
This shop sells all the ingredients you could ever need (within reason and legalities of course!) to make a potion. Some of the rarer ingredients have to be preordered, but generally they are well stocked with the more common ingredients.

Esculentus
Exclusive four-star restaurant. There are rumors it's proprietor was possessed by the devil.

Lenigrad's
It has a vast selection of vodkas, including home-made flavoured vodkas, all served in a shot glass resting in a bowl of ice. Their Russian kitchen specialises in beef stroganoff, borscht, salads, smoked salmon, blinis and soups. They have a dance floor and are often cited by the MLE for playing their music way too loud.

Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour
Famous for his desserts, Florean always has a new flavour ready for customers to try out. For his favorite customers, he often has little tastes. Florean loves inventing new flavors and getting people to try them out. His favorites are Hot Chocolate, Apple Pie, and Every Flavor Ice Cream.

Arkie Alderton Kwik-Repair Shop
Known for its quirky techniques, Arkie's Shop is becoming a favorite among quidditch enthusiasts. A very friendly environment, customers usually spend time with the broom repairmen and get a hands on experience. The shop has become popular because of its silly ads and wireless promotions: if we can't fix it, it's probably not a good idea to get back on the broom!

The Wizarding Wireless Network
You hear it first! Whether it be breaking news stories, quidditch results, the latest hits, or your favorite soap opera, the WWN is your place to tune in! And not only because it's the only wizarding wireless station!

The Leaky Cauldron
A shabby looking pub on Charing Cross road in London. It serves as the gateway from the Muggle side into Diagon Alley. It’s technically not in Diagon Alley itself, but is the bridge between the two areas. There is a bar, several parlour rooms and a good sized dining room. There are also a number of rooms available for guests to rent out. Behind the pub is a small alleyway with trash cans and a brick wall. It is through this wall that the magic portal opens to take visitors into Diagon Alley.

Obscurus Books
A large, wizard owned but muggle bookstore. It’s is entirely on the muggle side of things, but serves as one of the largest publishers of books in the Wizarding world.

Borgin & Burkes
Borgin & Burkes is the largest establishment in Knockturn Alley. It sells Dark Arts magic items, some of which are very dangerous. The proprietor, Mr. Borgin, buys as well as sells all manner of strange and sinister things. It’s best not to find yourself in this shop. Aurors like to frequent it to see if they can’t catch someone doing dirty business.

Agrippa's Apothecary
If Slug & Jiggers only carries reasonable and legal items, Agrippa's is the place to go to get the things on your list that you don't want the ministry finding out about. They stock anything and everything, but just be careful of their prices! If they're willing to get it for you, you'd better be willing to hand over the galleon.

Twilfit & Tattings
The robe shop in London for those of a higher expectation. It carries nothing on racks, everything his hand made to order. Twilfit specialises in elegant, avant-garde clothing which, as well as being highly sought after has a longevity way beyond just one season. As well as Tattings' latest creations, this flagship boutique also features her shoe, accessory and eyewear ranges.

Magical Menagerie
A very crowded pet store, noisy with the sounds of all the animals.

Calliope Publishing
The competition to Obscurus, Calliope published the ever favorite Quidditch Through the Ages and is looking to secure the rights to Hogwarts; A History. They work with first time authors and while they try to generate revenue through some higher name authors, the young junior publishers like to look for ‘edgy’ stuff and discovering ‘the next great novelist’.

Starky Planetarium
The Starky Planetarium is located at the far end of Diagon Alley, nearest to the apparation centre and Foyle's Junk Shop. It's an amazing piece of the universe, right in Lower London! It's exhibits are out of this world and they offer a lecture series, as well as star shows for all to enjoy

HOGSMEADE

The Three Broomsticks
A great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella. There are tables, booths, and a mirror over the bar. Owned by the spicy Madam Rosemerta, it’s often packed on Hogwarts weekends.

The Tattered Cover
Hogsmeade’s own little bookshop. They carry a variety of books, both muggle and wizard alike. The owner is independently wealthy and leaves all the decisions up to his manager. There are so many books, they’ve had to open the basement as a part of the shop.

The Hog's Head
A small inn in Hogsmeade, on a side street off the main street, much dirtier (and attracting a more interesting, clientele) than the Three Broomsticks. The bar consists of a single small, dirty room smelling strongly of something that might be goats; while students are permitted to go in, they're advised to bring their own glasses.

Dervish & Banges
D&B sells and repairs magical equipment. Often a good place to find trinkets or birthday presents for those still at Hogwarts.

Gladrags Wizardwear
Clothier, with additional shops in London and Paris. Among other things, you can buy strange socks there. They also stock a few Hogwarts school robes, for emergencies.

Madam Puddifoot's
A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly, filled with small circular tables, located on a side street off the High Street; the only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples. Madame Puddifoot likes to keep things interesting and often uses exotic themes in an attempt to draw locals to her café.

Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop
A stationary and quill shop. They cary a variety of parchments, inks and quills, often stocking some of the self-inking and spell-checking variety. They invented the anti-cheating quills here.

The Three Graces
A high end fashion boutique owned by famous supermodel Psyke. It provides lovely perfumes and allows you to make your own scents. The makeup line is modern but classy and the small line of clothes on display are definitely worth the slightly outrageous prices. It is fashion, after all. Now with a wedding planning area!

Honeyduke's Sweet Shop
Honeydukes not only sells a wide variety of sweets, they also make their own fudge and enormous blocks of chocolate.

OTHER

Greener Grass Construction

Feast Your Eyes Bakery
Specializing in wonderfully designed cakes, this cafe is making its name on the wizarding party scene!

The Lotus Blossom
A yoga studio that is open to both muggle and wizarding folk. Worried about your chakra? This is the place for you! All wards up to Ministry standards!

Potent Pucey Potions
A family run apothecary of the un-friendly kind.

The Elizabethan Dance Studio
Children as young as two can learn the art of dance at this wizarding dance studio! From ballet to jazz to ballroom, this studio has instructors that specialize in almost every form of dance you and your little one could possibly imagine. Most students return through all of their Hogwarts summers! Owned by quidditch chaser Caden Flint's wife, Estella.
