The only reason I haven't been able to beat that game is because my PS2 lags like hell and I keep messing up on this one boss fight. :(

Odin Sphere is seriously one of the most amazing and beautiful RPGs I've seen in a loooooong time. And what makes it better for me is the total 2D-ness.

Yeah, I don't know if it's because I have a large PS2 and the slim ones had a better processor or videocard or whatever... but it's frustrating so I haven't been able to finish that game. It lagged pretty bad when I was up against the Goddess of Death, too.

Well, my boyfriend played and beat it on his fat PS2, so maybe it's just a wear-and-tear issue?

Sad beans, though. It's an awesome game.

...you should tell your PS2 to man up and stop being such a fag so you can play your games. XD
