When Hunter finally responded, Mackenzie felt slightly better. It wasn't like her to feel so needy when she woke up the day after drinking too much. This had been a lot more than she was used to drinking however, if the way she practically felt like she was dying was any indication. She could vaguely remember that she had been taking straight shots of 151, but everything after that point was blurry. The last thing she remembered was taking shot number five. Groaning again, she curled up into the fetal position on the bathroom floor, enjoying how the cold tile felt on her cheek.

It wasn't the first time she had woken up without remembering what had happened the night before. It was the first time however that she had the sinking feeling that something hadn't gone well. Perhaps it was the tone of Hunter's voice, or the fact that Hunter was even in her room to begin with. Mackenzie was almost afraid to ask, but she knew she would have to find out eventually. Pushing herself up from the bathroom floor, she waited for the room to stop spinning so violently before making her way slowly out of the tiny bathroom.

"I feel like I'm dying," she croaked, leaning heavily against the doorway. She brought her hands up to her face to rub at her pounding head gently. It almost hurt too much to even touch the skin on her forehead, and she opted to just rest her head in her hands as she stood there pathetically. "What the fuck happened last night?" she asked before gathering her strength and dragging herself back to her bed. Once she had crawled back onto the twin sized mattress and nested herself in her comforter, she looked around for her cigarettes. "Why were you sleeping on my floor?" She inquired, giving up on her scan and sitting there pathetically. "Did you and Michi get in a fight or something?"
