Jenny didn't really know why she felt so nervous, it was just a dance after all. But she couldn't shake the strange ominous feeling that seemed to hang over everything. Even when she had been getting ready, she had gotten two runs in her stockings just while putting them on. That had to be some bad luck record, and she almost called the date off all together when she thought of the message Sera had sent her earlier in the week.

She didn't know what the brunette had planned, but she hoped that whatever it was just wasn't the thing causing her grief. Always a strong believer in Divination and all of it's branches, no matter how people said it wasn't real, the blonde decided she definitely needed an aura cleansing or something. Maybe the dance would go great and just take care of all of her negative feelings for her.

By seven thirty, Hen had already come and he and Ella were gone. With the goofy pictures over, Jenny just squeezing in on one of Ella and Hendrix, and the video chat with their mother over too, there was still no Sera. She didn't really mind; it wasn't as if Paula hadn't had kittens over Skype everytime she and Sera went to a dance. They didn't need to be in on the chat everytime. It had practically been Ella's turn to take some of the mom pressure. New boyfriends trumped old girlfriends, after all.

Never one to be particularly impatient, Jenny did sort of wish the brunette had come earlier though, it would have been nice to have the four of them together. Even if just for a quick picture. She still couldn't shake her bad feeling, and she felt sort of like tonight would be a good night to take pictures. It'd be a good night to remember. Lost in her worries, Jen jumped a little as she finally heard a knock on her door, rushing over and pulling it open.

"Fashionably late?" she asked her girlfriend a little rhetorically, making a show of looking the younger girl over from head to toe. She was a bit like a giant when she wore her heels. "I love your sweater," she added, reaching up to pluck at it.
