Jenny had always hated hospitals, from the sterile smell to the stark white walls, and so it didn't take Paula a very long at all to convince her to go with Ella and head back to school. She had wanted to stay with her father, especially when words like concussion were getting thrown around, but the three of them sitting there and watching him sit in bed was only tolerable for so long.

He was still asking for herbal remedies, and so she had to assume that meant he was feeling all right enough. Promising to call before bed, the twins had left for school again and it wasn't really until they were back on campus that the reality of the situation began to set in for Jenny.

While Ella headed down to King's Hall to listen to the headmaster, Jenny had trouble of her own staying in their room. Or staying still. She spent almost twenty minutes pacing the floor between their beds, or trying to read and only becoming frustrated a few moments after beginning each page. She couldn't focus on anything, except what had happened, the look on all of those faces, the smell of the smoke. Blue smoke, which was quite curious indeed.

Sick of trying to stay to herself and unable to keep everything inside any longer, the blonde changed into her pajamas and pulled her hair back before heading to the most familiar place in the school besides her own room. She only knocked once on Sera's door, letting herself inside after that and not even waiting for her girlfriend to greet her before she began talking. Everything she had been thinking and dreading was just going to come flowing out, and she was powerless to stop it.

"I think if they sack Headmaster Sato, I'll resign. I should, shouldn't I? He picked me and I- I was responsible. Or I thought I was? I couldn't even-- just one simple weekend, and I couldn't-- I watched everybody! I watched everyone so closely and I don't know how I didn't know and.. what do I do?" she rambled, her hands coming up to pull at her cheeks, dragging her face down into an exaggerated grimace. "What do I do?" she asked again. Behind her, the door hadn't even been shut yet.
