It was stupid, a really, really stupid idea but there was nothing that was holding her back. One of her best friends had told her it was okay to jump into these kinds of things and she didn't want to hold herself back anymore. So it was with clumsy nervous hands that she whipped up a batch of Betty Crocker in a bag cookies. She checked the oven every three minutes to make sure the cookies weren't burning.

With a silly smile she finally packed up the cookies and got ready. It took her a ridiculously long time to get dressed. She wasn't even sure he would be at his room, almost positive that he would be off with his friends getting wasted but she went anyways. Standing outside Roanoke, she had to tell herself one more time that this was what she should do. It took all the courage she had but she forced herself up the stairs and knocked on the door to Sim's room.
