He shrugged. "Nah, just callin' it like I see it," he grinned. He had never expected to ever spend a dance blushing away the way he did with Marney. She wasn't like any other girl he had dated before. Most girls he dated were stoners, flakes, or oddballs.
"Not at all, I been thinkin' about other stuff," he averted his eyes, turning a deep cherry red before flicking his eyes back to Marney's. "Well, honestly I been thinkin' about how I can make tonight really great," he spun her out, then spun her back in, grinning widely. He quietly thanked Blue for forcing him to go to dance class with her when they were younger.
He laughed. "Shucks," he joked. He had always been called cute from other girls but hearing it from Marney Sykes was a whole new sensation. Apple shrugged his shoulders. "I wouldn't mind loosing to Mack. She's pretty bad ass."
