Wasted as she felt, it was hard for Ruby to keep her brain entirely on task, but she only allowed Emma to kiss her for a few moments before beginning to pull away gently. Just the tug on her lower lip was enough to cause her to falter again, but she was quickly back on schedule. "Patience," she instructed the blonde, before groping around in her jacket until she had produced her wand. Pointing it toward the door, she cast a couple of silencing charms and something to lock the door. It would give them a few minutes, unless a teacher discovered it was locked or something.

They hadn't been caught yet, however, and sneaking around had sort of become their specialty over the last few months. Even now that they were openly together, it was at times convenient to fall back into old habits. "Now we can pick up where we left off," she murmured back, biting her lip briefly as Emma played with her hair, making her shiver a little despite some of the hesitation she was feeling.

Teasing and fooling around was one thing, but every time they got close like this, things only came closer and closer to escalating each time. Until Ruby ended up panicking anyway, something that she was still immensely embarrassed about doing to her girlfriend every time they got too intimate. "Careful," she warned in a gentle slur, dipping her head down again and returning her lips to Emma's neck once again, focusing on pressing kisses to that for now rather than worrying about later.
