Alex had been enjoying the little bit of silence that she got to herself before Dani arrived back in her room. Bringing that stupid smelly little dog along with her, panting and stinking the place up. It was a struggle not to roll her eyes as soon as they arrived. Laying back on her bed, head hanging over the side, she was absently texting Charlie about how disgusting Dani was, when suddenly her cousin was shouting over in her direction.

"Oh please," the other girl spat, sitting up just in time to have her hair hauled on. She let out a frustrated little noise, trying to pull away. "Don't touch me, I don't want to turn into a giant lesbo! Unhand me! It's not my fault you don't want to hear the truth!"

Dani pulled even harder, trying to spin the other girl around. "You fuckin' kiddin' me!?" she said angrily. "I aint no fuckin' lesbo and yer about as good at quodpot as a god damn toddler!"

She pushed on Alex frustratedly. There was nothing worse than being made to look stupid in front of the whole school, in her opinion. Laddy, being used to this scene, rested his head and watched on in interest.

"Excuse me? I can fly circles around you," Alex shot back, her own anger quickly getting the best of her. It didn't take much. "And don't tell me what you aren't, I've seen who you hang around with," she added, quickly lifting her hands and shoving Dani right back.

"I fucking doubt it!" Dani growled. "I'd fuckin' challenge your ass right now but I'd rather kick it!" she threatened, his fists clenching at her sides. "My friends aint got nothin' to do with me and who I like!" Not that she really had a firm grip on that herself.

"If I didn't have you on my team we'd have fuckin' won every year your useless ass was on the field! What the fuck you do out there?! Check your fuckin' text messages and don't say you don't cause I seen you do it ya fuckin' bitch!"

"Bitch, if you think you're real enough, then bring it on," Alex tempted her, giving her a cocky little grin, one eyebrow raising. "They say a lot about you, you'll notice the distinct difference between your company and mine?"

Making a face as Dani called her out on her laziness, the taller girl glowered down at her cousin. "It's not my fault you have no social life and therefore no messages. I don't know about you, but I've got important business to attend to."

Dani couldn't help her temper any longer. She pulled her fist back and swung as hard as she could. "I aint checkin my fuckin' texts on the field like a god damn princess!"

"You don't have any texts! Nobody wants to talk to you!" Alex shouted back, stumbling back a bit as Dani nailed her with her fist. It hurt, actually a lot, but she tried not to show it. She ground her teeth instead.

"Ugh, bitch! That hurt!" she hissed, advancing on the shorter girl and giving her a rough shove, kicking her in the shins.

"It was fuckin' supposed to!" Dani said stumbling back a bit as the taller girl shoved her, she flinched as she took the kick to the shins but bit her lip to keep from hollering about it. She had grown up with a thousand older brothers and learned early not to cry and show weaknesses.

Like a tiny tiger she pounced on her cousin, already swinging. She knew she was going to get into trouble for this but she just couldn't be bothered to care. "Yer so fuckin' useless! It's no wonder no one likes you! Well, unless yer fuckin' 'em!"

"Fuck you! Everyone likes me a while hell of a lot more than they like you!" Alex screamed back childishly, swinging her arms right back and trying to strike every part of Dani she could get as the other girl came down on top of her.

Dani actually tried when it came to Quodpot, and that gave her a definite strength advantage, but Alex wasn't going down so easily. "I'm your cousin, you can't even hold in your gay urges for five minutes!? Get off of me before I call nan-nan!" she shrieked, kicking at the other girl.

Dani tried to catch Alex's wrists after she pounced. She figured the best advantage she could get was to just dominate. "Fuckin' take it back!" she said pulling back and aiming a punch for the other girl's face.

"Call nan-nan all you fuckin' want. What's that god damn crypt keeper gonna do about it?"

Growling as her cousin caught hold of her wrists, stopping their wild slapping, she glared up at her. "I wouldn't take it back if you paid me," she snarled, trying to maneuver her head out of the way of Dani's punch.

Dani accepted the challenge, her dad had always called her a glutton for punishment and maybe this was just her way of going about it. She got ready and punched Alex again. "Ya fuckin' twat! You jus' jealous you aint as good as me!"

With a temper like the one she had, Alex was never one for taking much shit from anybody. When Dani punched her again, the taller girl went off, viciously yanking her wrists entirely out of the other girl's grasp and taking a hard swing with her left hook at her cousin.

She was quite satisfied with the blow, hauling back her right hand and coming in another another. "I'm twice the bitch in charge you'll ever be, dyke! Get real!"

Dani grinned when Alex struck her and spit blood at the second swing. "Now if only you could turn that energy to quodpot and stop fuckin' around on the field we'd be set."

She was convinced one more punch would set her cousin straight so she aimed it for the other girl's jaw and then pulled away from her. Pushing herself off the floor.

There was nothing Alex hated worse than a busted lip, they always looked so trashy, but as she turned her head to avoid taking the punch in the jaw, she took it mostly in the mouth instead. "Ugh, you whore!" she roared, turning her head and spitting a little blood herself.

With Dani off of her, Alex quickly clambered to her feet, standing with her fists raised for just a second before getting an even better idea. Diving back onto her bed, she grabbed around amongst her pillows before pulling out her wand. Turning on Dani with it raised, the taller girl grinned and licked a little blood from her lip. "You're fucked now, bitch! Fight me like a real witch, come on! Fist fighting is for muggles and animals anyway.. though those are the same thing, I guess."

When Alex grabbed for her wand Dani held out her hand. "Accio wand," it flung from her own bed and into her hand. She only rose her eyebrows as she listened to her cousin rant. Dani had nothing against half bloods or muggle borns, blood status didn't matter to her but she knew it bothered the shit out of her cousin.

"You fuckin' half blood bitch," Dani smirked deviously, spitting a little more blood to the side. "What the fuck ya gonna do bout it?"

Her face contorting into an ugly look of rage, Alex raised her wand high without even hesitating for a second. That was so the wrong thing to call her right then, or ever. Gritting her teeth, she was breathing heavily as she gave her wand hand a flick. "Bombarda!" she shouted, a small explosion blossoming from the end of her wand into the other girl's direction.

"Reducto!" Dani hollered flinging her wand unceremoniously. Another small explosion blasted from behind Alex, sending debris flying through the room. This was Laddy's cue to leap from Dani's bed and hide underneath it. "Fuckin' psycho!" Dani roared.

Amelia had been doing her rounds of the dorms when she heard screaming from the Quentin girl's room. That was really no surprise considering the two cousins wouldn't get along if their lives depended on it. Amelia decided to skip over the younger floors so she could investigate what was happening between them. As she drew closer to room 401, the noise got louder and two loud explosions shook the floor. She grumbled beneath her breath and busted in the door with one swing of her wand. "Expelliarmus!" The two wands were in her hand before she even looked at the two girls.

"And just what do you think you're doing Misses Quentin?" she asked harshly, glaring at the juniors.

Alex barely had time to dodge the explosion, swearing a little as some of her hair was singed. That was it, the bitch was asking for it, and her mouth opened wide to boom another spell but her wand was flying from her hand before she had a chance.

Turning to see Amelia Gray standing there, Alex paled slightly but decided immediately it was in her best interest to deny, deny, deny.

"Oh Professor, thank god you're here!" the taller girl cried, reaching up a hand to cover her busted lip. "S-She just started screaming at me about Quodpot and then she attacked me! Her own family!" she went on, trying to look more and more distraught as she went on.

"I thought she was going to kill me! And she tried to sick her little dog on me!"

"That's fuckin bullshit! Laddy didn' do nothin' and she didn't get nothin' she didn't deserve!" Dani hollered, pointing at her cousin.

Almost as if on cue Laddy snuck his nose out from under the bed and sniffed around.

Amelia looked at the dog and then raised an eyebrow at Alex. "A most vicious creature," she said deadpan. "Ladies, gather yourselves and come with me, we're in for a late night visit with the Headmaster. I can assure you... it won't be pleasant," she said darkly.

Alex watched the dog poking his nose out innocently and cursed him silently. Couldn't he at least muster a little growl or a snap of the teeth or something? She tried her best to keep up her innocent and frightened exterior, looking shocked as Amelia informed them that they would be going to see the Headmaster. That just wouldn't do.

"B-But Professor! You can clearly see that my cousin here is.. severely unhinged. I was defending myself! Should I be punished for self-defense!? I don't know if I can live with a maniac like this anymore!" she sighed dramatically, trying not to glare in Dani's direction.

"Bitch needs to learn when to keep her pompous mouth shut," Dani snarled. "Fuckin' she was the first one to throw a fuckin' explosion my way!" she said turning to Amelia and throwing her hands in the air.

Amelia sighed deeply as she looked at both girls. "Honestly Danielle, you need to learn to clean your mouth up," shaking her head, she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Alexandria, you will both be punished for this mess," she said firmly. "You will be held accountable for cleaning up this room and fixing everything in it... without wands," she clarified. "And as for the Headmaster, yes, you will both need to visit Mr. Sato this evening. He'll need to know we need to watch out for both of your tempers."

Resigning herself to her fate, Alex decided that the best last ditch effort she had would to be to try to win Sato's sympathy. Maybe that could work, but it clearly wasn't working on Gray. "That's right, Danielle.. don't you listen when nan-nan tells you that proper young ladies don't speak that way?" she reminded her cousin smugly, cracking a little smile despite herself.

Her smug smile disappeared, however, when Amelia told them what their punishment would be. "That's outrageous!" the taller girl protested, looking around frantically. They really had made quite a little mess. No magic? She was just supposed to get down and scrub or something, like some common muggle? No thanks. She would have to get Charlie to slip her wand to her after classes the next day or something. It wouldn't be as good as her own, but it would do.

Crossing her arms over her chest and looking quite like an overgrown child who hadn't gotten her way, Alex pouted. "I don't know how to do that. I've only ever used magic, I-- I just couldn't."
