Characters: Hunter & Mack.
Setting: Mackenzie's Room [202], Tuesday evening.
Rating: SFW.
Content: Hunter has some big news that she isn't sure how to deal with. Therefore it is time to seek out her BFF, even if she's busy avoiding her feelings for gingers doing other stuff.

Though she had kept herself mostly under control in front of Michi, playing the role of the stoic one as best she could, once she had gone back to her room to try and relax again, it just wasn't happening. She had ended up pacing the room slightly, her mind full of worries and what-ifs and everything in between, her hands coming up and pulling at her hair in frustration every once in a while. It would be easy to blame Pascual, to go and beat his head in, but she didn't even want to.

She didn't know what she wanted. Only two things were clear, the fact that her life was about to change entirely and the fact that she wasn't really sure if she was ready.

It frightened the blonde more than she wanted to admit. Everything, from what could come to what had already happened. Had they hurt the baby? They had drank like tanks, just the same as ever, and Michi had been so sick.. it turned Hunter's stomach painfully to think about it. Hell, it almost made her want to cry. What was up with her? Feeling shaky and full of even more frustration by the second, the tall blonde did the only thing that she could think to do.

Moving over to her closet, she hauled the door open and began to root around inside for a few moments before pulling out the familiar sleeping bag and pillow from somewhere on the bottom. Neither of them had used it in a few weeks, but it was probably time. Heading out of her own room, Hunter sulked the whole extra ten feet or so to make it to Mack's door. She wasn't surprised to find it unlocked, and let herself inside. Going straight over to the bed, she pulled back the covers and set down the sleeping bag, crawling inside and curling up, her head even ducked down inside.

She wasn't sure how long she was there like that, hiding under the covers of the sleeping bag and feeling all of about twelve years old. She was essentially just a kid, and kids weren't supposed to have kids. It was better in Mack's room, even if she didn't know when the other blonde would be back, but the room didn't stop her mind from moving a mile a minute. Her thoughts kept racing, and just as she was asking herself what kind of parent someone like her could ever be, she heard a semi-familiar sound just outside of the dormitory door.

There was a faint giggling, and then a lower voice mumbling something. Definitely Mack, though Hunter had no idea who the giggler was. Probably just some girl, and peeking just a tiny bit out of the sleeping bag as the two girls entered the room, Hunter wasn't shocked to see that she was a red-haired girl. No shock there, even if Mack would argue until she was blue in the face that it was merely a coincidence. She knew her best friend better than that, just like Mack knew her better than anyone. She hoped that would help the other girl to aid her in fumbling through this situation.

Mack and her 'date' hadn't even noticed her, and without moving, just a six foot tall lump under Mackenzie's blankets, Hunter spoke in a rather deadpan voice from inside of their sleeping bag. "Send the bitch home. My life is over."
