Grunting a bit as Mack shoved her over on the bed and got comfortable beside her, the blonde just burrowed herself further into the sleeping bag. "Ya wouldn't believe me if I told ya," the taller girl muttered sullenly, without lifting her head out to speak. She sounded muffled, but the surprising seriousness of her tone still hung on. "Don't go an' git mad at me jus' cos I made your li'l Tater lookalike take a hike.. ya didn't want the bitch anyway," she added knowingly in a mutter.

She supposed she couldn't beat around the bush forever, it was why she had come over here. So much as it killed her to admit it, if she had wanted to sulk, she'd be better off in her own bed. There was no tree house in Georgia, and Mack's room would just have to do. God, it killed her, but she had come there to talk. There was no one else she could talk to about something so serious, except Kia and over the phone just wasn't the same. Mack was the best port in a storm.

"Michi's knocked up," she said, out loud for the first time. The blonde almost grimaced as the words set in. She had wanted to be strong for her girlfriend, had tried to be as encouraging as her emotional paralysis would allow, but she had a feeling she hadn't done a good enough job. She was glad Michi couldn't see her then, doubting them and having second thoughts, worrying about every little thing. She would stand by the other girl's side until the end, but what good would she be to her? She was no good with kids, and her own family was far too fucked up to produce anyone sane enough to have offspring. "Dunno if it's mine yet," she joked dryly, sighing heavily into the plaid fabric of the sleeping bag.
