"Try me," she said, turning to look at the other blonde with a look of concern. Normally she would have ragged the older girl, but the fact that Hunter was practically suffocating herself in the sleeping bag was worrying the shorter girl. The sleeping bag only came out in times of need, times when they needed the comfort of their tree house but couldn't go back to it. They had always brought the old plaid lined bag to school with them, and it had been a method of comfort for them for as long as Mack could remember. It was the serious tone that the girl was still using that caused the blonde to remain speechless however, even when Hunter commented on the fact that the girl Mack had brought home was just a sad excuse for a Tatum look-a-like.

A tense silence had settle between them, and while Mackenzie was waiting for the bomb to drop, she knew that Hunter would tell her eventually. She could tell that Hunter was struggling to find the words to tell her what was wrong. Neither one of them had ever been great at expressing their feelings to one another, sometimes it took a little while longer for them to say what they were feeling. So Mackenzie sat next to Hunter, fiddling with a loose string on her blanket until Hunter spoke again.

It took several seconds for Hunter's words to really sink in for the shorter girl, she had to repeat them in her head several times. When she finally realized what Hunter had told her, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped, leaving her gaping for air like a gold fish as she looked at Hunter. Michi was knocked up? It was almost comical, they had both been the biggest play boy's on campus at one time, Mack still held on to the title partially. The fact that they were both girl's though had always caused them to joke about how lucky they were, they would never have to worry about accidentally knocking up a girl. This however, was like some sick joke brought about by karma. Hunter had to be kidding, it had to be a joke the taller girl made up to throw Mack out of her funk. The tone of Hunter's voice left little possibility for that hope to be a reality though.

After a few minutes Mackenzie finally closed her mouth and wordlessly untangled herself from the bed. She walked over to her desk and opened the bottom drawer, rummaging around for a few moments before producing a bottle of vodka. Walking back to Hunter, she uncapped the bottle and took a drink directly from the mouth. Wincing slightly as she felt the alcohol traveling down her throat, she thrust the bottle in Hunter's direction.

"Drink up pops," She said hoarsely, a look of shock still on her face. What the hell were they going to do? They were the two most immature people on campus, and now Hunter supposedly was going to have a kid. She didn't even know if Michi was going to want to keep it, but she had the small hunch that the girl was going to. It would explain why Hunter was here, explain why she sounded so horrified. They were probably the two people least equipped to deal with this kind of thing, they had never had stable home lives, never knew what it was like to have real parents. Kia had been their only role model for parenting, and even that wasn't perfect.

"Fuck Hunt, what are you going to do? I...is Mich gonna keep it? Are you going to stay with her? You can't leave her now man, but...shit." She scrubbed at her face and left Hunter with the vodka bottle to rummage around the room for a cigarette. Finding them in a discarded jacket, she pulled one out and lit it, waving her wand to filter out the smoke. She offered the pack to Hunter, climbing back onto the bed with her and re-situating herself. "I...I'm here for you man, anything you need. I don't know much about kids, but I guess like I could always call Kia and ask her. Do...do you want me to call Kia so she can make sure Mich is okay?"
