Mackenzie smirked, as serious as this whole situation was she couldn't help but enjoy getting to rag on her friend a little bit. "Yeah pops!" she said cheerfully, reaching over and taking the bottle from Hunter. She took a swig from it and grinned at the taller blonde. "Guess you gotta get clean now that you're tied down." The thought of having a kid and all the responsibility that came with it kind of freaked Mackenzie out. Hunter was right, she couldn't be shooting the breeze and drinking with Mack all the time, not when Michi needed help. It was like the end of an era, the kind of change that they had both been scared of when they had come to Blue Ridge.

She kept her eyes fixed on the wall, trying not to let her anxiety and jealousy show. While she didn't want to have to be facing something like a pregnant girlfriend, she couldn't deny that she wasn't jealous. There was a reason that Mack didn't do relationships, it was just too hard to get attached, but deep down she wished that she had someone the way Hunter had Michi.

Taking another drink, she nodded along as Hunter talked, grunting her agreement at certain parts of the taller girls rant. Michi's parents were just about as bad as their own, in a different way but it was still valid. It was probably why the two tall blondes had taken such a liking to her in the first place. She couldn't help but laugh when Hunter told her that her and Kia would be auntie to the child. "I better be fucking god mother to that kiddo too you big sap!" She grinned at the taller girl to mask her earlier weirdness, not wanting to bring up her feelings. "Damn right we're all family, who else we got otherwise?"

Her serious expression returned when Hunter brought up being blood brothers, but a small smile tugged at her lips anyway. It helped calm some of her previous fears about the huge change that was about to happen. "Of course we're related," she said confidently, just like she had all those years ago. "We're brothers for life now, you can't break the blood brothers bond." She bit her lip and sat there worrying it for few moments of silence before looking back to Hunter. She tried not to let her insecurity show on her face, but she was sure that the other girl would be able to read it.

"Y'all won't forget about me, will you?" She asked quietly, hating herself for having to get sappy on the taller girl. It had just kind of slipped out, but there was no taking it back now. "Ya know, now that you got you lady and a kid on the way. You're gonna be busy as hell, no time for little 'ol me any more." She joked to try to lighten the situation.
