Riley was quite annoyed at having had part of his costume confiscated upon entry to the hall. The cigarette was a perfectly valid accessory in the context of his outfit, he argued, and it was a violation of his First Amendment rights to take it away. Professor Tell wasn't having a bar of it however, and extinguished the butt with a flick of her wand, dumping it into a nearby trashcan with the threat of detention if he lit up another one.

"That's so lame," he groused to his not-date.
