Adelaide was soothed a great deal by his hands on her back, enough that when she felt him pulling her into his lap she dug her heels into the bottom of the boat to lift her hips up and move where she was directed. She smiled against his lips and let one of her hands slip up over his shoulder, brushing her fingers against his neck.
