After a series of interesting texts from his cousin Manney bounded over to Hudson and knocked on November's door. "Hey girl hey," he teased poking his head in. "So what's up Noah?"

November was laying on her bed just wondering what she had really gotten herself into when Manney stuck his head in. "Come in," she said not bothering to sit up.

He plopped down on her bed and leaned his head against the wall. "What is going on with you and Thorn dog?" he asked giving her a little smirk.

No smiled and shook her head. "I... have no idea," she laughed. She told him about how Thorny had incidentally ended up at her house on Sunday morning and how they had spent their night. "I don't know Manney, I kinda like him," she said shyly. "He's... completely insane but we've got similar interests and he's funny," she gave a little shrug.

"He's definitely got a thing for you," he smiled. "I'll warn you, he's a wild card."

"Yeah? He does?"

"He was asking about you. Asked if I was into you," he looked over at her with a big grin.

She rolled her eyes. "Can't a girl and a guy be friends without all the insinuations?" she grinned. "Your girlfriend always sends those death glares my way," she laughed.

"She's not... well... I know," he laughed. "I told her though," he nudged her. "We just can't win, can we?"

"Nice guys finish last," she grinned.

"Right? So are you taking him to prom?"

Her face went a little blank and she sighed. "Yeah... I mean... I don't normally do things like prom, I wasn't even going to go but Arnaud suggested I ask him. When he actually said yes I was like... ffffffffff," she laughed. "I don't even know what to wear."

"I can lend you a tux," he teased.

No rolled her eyes. "I'm not wearing a tux. I want to look cute," she smacked herself in the head. "I can't believe I just said that," she laughed despite herself.

"Aww Noah, you're in lurve," he poked her side.

"Hush! I am not! I just... he makes me all blushy and silly. I'm not a blushy silly kind of girl."

Manney laughed and patted her shoulder. "You're gonna be alright. He's a big softy under all that... yeah you know what I mean," he grinned.

"He told me he was like a kitten. A big fluffy kitten."

"That's believable. Just... don't let him around anything breakable."

"I'll do my best," she nodded. "So... are you going to prom with Rosana?" she asked rolling the R.

Manney shrugged but couldn't fight the little grin on his face. "Yeah, probably. I still have to find out what color she's wearing so I can get the right flower or whatever."

"You're adorkable Nikolai Emmanuel," she teased him, reaching up to pinch his cheek.

"Oh now you hush," he laughed. "She's like... I don't know," he shrugged. "I just want to do things right. I feel like getting the right corsage is like... a good place to start," he smiled feeling silly. "You know," he shrugged.

"She's got you wrapped around her little finger," she teased.

"Can you blame me? She's gorgeous!"

No laughed and rolling a little as she did so. "What are we going to do with ourselves?"

"I don't know," he poked her tummy. "Now, I'm not saying I want all the deets but you have got to keep me informed on this Thorny situation. He seems really into you. It's gotta be one of the most interesting developments of the year," he grinned.

"Right? Kinda... out of nowhere. Like I've talked to him before but never really hung out. And I think he was flirting with me."

"Were you flirting with him?"

"You woulda been proud," she grinned.

"Nice work Noah!" he said giving her shoulders a little shake. "I wasn't sure if you had it in you," he teased.

"Honestly, neither was I," she laughed. "He's going to be hard to keep up with but I think I need a change in pace."

"He's definitely a trip man. I already told I would beat him up if he hurt your feelings."

No laughed. "Don't worry, I know how to break a man's nose," she grinned.

"That would be priceless. Tiny, little Noah breaking big, old Thorny's face," he chuckled.

"Yeah, I got this thing," she grinned.

"Just take care of yourself sestrenka," he grinned.
