Penny loved Valentine's Day. She loved giving and receiving gifts from her friends and threw herself into the idea all the way. Chocolates, flowers, candy hearts, she loved it all.

She and Mom usually had dinner together on Valentine's Day because Mom and Dad had the whole next day together. This year Penny had a date and Dad would not be around to scare the guy off.
