I wasn't sure whether to post this in [info]necroholic or here but this seems like more sensible place for it.

ICON TRUTH MEME


RULES:
1. Comment with your username, a few icons to see your work, and people will comment with what they feel about your icons.

positives: funny, vibrant coloring, great use of text, overall good cropping.

negatives: too bright at times.

i want that wow icon but i'd feel a little too nerdy. hmmmmm...

While you're getting a lot better with cropping and colors and sharpening (but that won't be fixed until you get yourself a proper screen! XD) you still have a lot of issues with text. Until you get a better screen, I can't really bitch about how bright your icons are, it's not like you can tell, lmao.

I do agree with [info]freebird. Sometimes, your graphics are a bit too bright for my taste, however you have a flair about your graphics. You always have bright and bold ideas with your text, as the forth one in the top row, and you do have a good style of coloring, as in the first and fourth one in the bottom row.

Your icons are bright (I think it was a monitor thing, but I can't remember), but I think it does suit the tastes of people on LJ, since most icons that are made on LJ are bright and such. Technically, especially with the "outdoors" (the subjects are outdoors), it suits the icons, but I like bright icons, anyway, as well. :P

Lovely icons, though. I like that you've been playing with different coloring styles.
