Your characters have a very, well I guess nonchalant way of talking. Like they pretend not to care except they do care. It's very interesting, I like it.

thanks for the compliment! I try to keep my characters... I don't know. like, I want them to talk like normal people from their part of the country would, but not too stereotypical.

and has nate become his nickname for everyone? nathaniel says he doesn't like it. but anyway. the question. nathaniel was really intrigued by how different and blasé ellee is toward everything. plus, when he first came to town, she was one of the first people he met and she sort of introduced him to all of the Strange.and she always has the right answers to the calculus homework.

nathaniel: well, a little. she was very... jittery, which threw me off a little. but I felt a little obligated to be nice to her. she seems like a sweet girl.

I would say your trademark is that your characters have a tendancy to behave like teengers. They care about things teenagers care about. It's very subtle but I find it sort of neat too.

seeing as how I am a teenager, it comes pretty easily to me. I've never really written anyone older than there mid-20s. I don't know how that would work out.

There's a certain chaos to your writing that I noticed. Like it seems all over the place but at the same time I'm able to follow it so smoothly SO IT'S REALLY weird maybe I'm just weird for noticing IDK. XD;
