IS OVER. We're holding steady at 49005. So close and yet so far...

Concept
Reese has 72 hours and a decision to make.

Does she stay in the mundane world she's been returned to, or does she go back to the Realm, the other world she's come to know?

Setting
The novel will take place in the mundane for the most part, but it's less about the setting and more about the emotional/psychological journey.

In particular there is a safe house in the mundane, a blank white apartment with a table on which Reese places her Remington.

The Realm is a large and menacing place. I see it as very dark, vast landscapes engulfed in shadows, but I think this is because I haven't properly visualized the whole world yet.

With a time traveling character there's a pretty strong chance we'll get some flashbacks/forwards in the course of the novel. And of course Reese types her story on the Remington, revealing her time spent in the Realm.

Miscellaneous Facts About The World
Certain people have talents that are only accessible in another world known simply as the Realm. They can access the Realm depending on their ability or people known as ferriers. One of the most sought after talents is that of a writer. Depending on the level of their ability writers can re-write reality.
