If you don't want to date her than don't but someone liking you isn't necessarily a reason not to try to be their friend. It happens.
You don't call making out with her when you were going out with Sam, or at least said you liked him, slapping her across the face, hanging out with her one day then treating her like garbage the next, messing with her head?
