John,or Jack as he is often called, took the responsibility of being theoldest very seriously as he grew up. He was highly protective of his siblings and fiercely loyal his family. But Jack was also very muchthe wise-cracker, cynical and sarcastic. He is trustworthy and dependable, but can be neurotic and over-obsessive at times too. Forthe most part he is down to earth and laid-back, loving to chill and find answers to everyday questions, plus he has a very active and vivid imagination. He can also be something of a workaholic depending on thework at hand.

Loyalty is one thing that Jack relishes the most; once you've gained it, no truer friend will youhave. No one matches that of his family but if he thinks you worthy, you will be come very close. But he doesn't forgive easily, so if youlose the trust, a reason for him to be loyal to you, it is VERY hard toget it back. Jack is very good at seeing the situation or location andmaking the best of things, fitting in well and with out too muchhardship; he is one to go with the flow very well. He has a big andgenerous heart, and sometimes to his own detriment, he will help andcare of those in need, it is not something he shows in the public toooften. Jack is stubborn as all hell and doesn't give up easily, pushing through adversity to reach the goal.

John Alexander Campbell Kennedy was the oldest son born to Michael and AvaKennedy. He was born in Boston, and was born a Were-panther. Hisparents, especially his mother, were beyond fond of the OTHER Kennedyfamily and named their children as such. Very soon after he was born, the family added another son, Robert, and a daughter, Jackie.

As he grew up, John knew about Weres and that he in fact was a Were-panther, like his parents and siblings. He embraced the life assoon as he knew and cherished the unique life he'd been given. Johnwas the quintessential all-American boy. He loved Boston football, theBruins and a huge Red Sox fan. But he was also a good student, makinggreat grades as he sought to become an engineer, though what he reallywanted to do was play hockey.

John was a natural fighter and itdidn't take long for him to gain impressive skill both from his parentsand also in sparring with his siblings. The first changes were hardbut made easier because he knew what to kind of expect and because hewasn't alone.

As they got older, John worried for his sister. She was never one to back down from a fight nor hold off from startingone. He would protect her or Robert but he didn't like having too. Just because he could fight, it didn't mean he always liked to. Thoughhe wouldn't tell her, Jackie imprinting so young was more trouble thatit was worth. Jack wanted her to be happy yes but imprinting seemed tomake the Were crazed in the best of times. He knows of course that onecan dictate or choose when something like that would happen.

Itwas during his senior year of high school when things really wenthaywire for the Kennedy kids. Jack was playing hockey, looking forwardto college, living his life. But Jackie was hurt, the imprint brokenand there was nothing Jack hated more than seeing Jackie or Bobbyhurting. No matter what, you couldn't take the protective olderbrother out of Jack. And it showed when Jackie went back to school. The little cat fights, Jack didn't worry about. But half a footballteam jumping them it wasn't fair to anyone. And Bobby and John didwhat they did best, they stood up for their sister and fought back.

Itwasn't a complete admission of who they were, but it was good enough. John graduated but a post graduation party, and a full moon led to thedeath of a girl, one that wasn't Jacks' fault but no one who reallyknew letting him know that.

That's when Jack changed. Hecouldn't tell his family, as close as they all were. After so manyyears of their parents talking to them and warning them, he'd shamedthem in one night. Plans for hockey and college were put off, and whenhe was approached by mysterious men offering him a deal, he stopped tolisten.

He had skills, they said. And was of 'the family'. And if he joined them, they would make very worth his while. Jack ofcourse, was skeptical. But he also felt like didn't have a choice.College was no longer a option, at least in the manner he had plannedon, and he couldn't stay at home with his parents.

So Jack left. He crossed the ocean to Ireland, making a full circle to hisgreat-great grandparents' immigrate from there so long ago. For themen were part of the Panthera Onca, and withtheir help Jack was trained to be a sniper, fighting for the good ofthe cause against the wolves. He was lost and had no direction, andJack got lost in everything, doing as he was told.

Contact withhis family was minimal but enough to give then no cause to worry. Orso he thought. Jack didn't come home, didn't let them know where hewas at. It was both to keep them safe from retaliation should he befound out, but also because of what he was doing, he didn't want themto know how far he'd fallen.

Five and a half years and thousandsof miles later, Jack has found himself not only back in the States, butback in Boston. Against his better judgement he goes to look up thegirl's family and finds out that the real killer had been caught andconvicted. Jack wasn't guilty. For that at least, but six years of adark life, how did one come away from that? And if he'd kept incontact, someone might have been able to tell him. That was the pastnow. Jack went to see his parents, to talk to them. Grateful he wasstill alive, though upset with what he'd done with his life, theyencouraged him to start a new life.

It was easier said than done, but he did just that. He left Panthera Onca, andbeing as wily as he was, Jack had stockpiled as much money in variousbanks as he could. After six years, the interest alone was immense. But the group wasn't so easy to leave, and just a few short days later, the government was calling on him and informing him that he was to beassigned to Birch Creek, Alaska. After so long hiding and watching hisback, Jack looked on this as a good thing, a new start. Besides, hisparents said Jackie and Bobby were somewhere in Alaska too.

It had to be a sign of things.
